Three. There is also Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3. It's not yet been announced for localization officially, but regional and worldwide options in its online mode suggests that it will be.
Probably. We may even get news on the MH Stories Amiibos coming to the West.

Really? I mostly read negative things about this game outside of its visuals. Maybe I should check it out one day. I've liked some of Tri-Ace's less well-received stuff.

Non è but we could get many localizations for games ready available or announced for japan like mh stories, layton 7 (already confirmed for the west but we dont know if on mobile or 3ds), Culdcept, dragon Ball, one piece, DQ xi, Digimon, Monster Strike, puzzle & dragon, etrian oddissey, inazuma even Galaxy 3, snack world, megaton musashi and so on.
I think that Eve oasis and the level 5 games were the last trumpets in terms of new games (when if we saw smaller games recently announced for japan like puyo puyo anniversary, pro baseball, a train and so on

Realistic expectations for the 3DS Direct: Fire Emblem fighting game by ArcSys in similar style to Dragon Ball Extreme Butoden and One Piece Great Pirate Colosseum.

Doubt it. One thing for Square Enix to put them in, but Nintendo had to publish two mainline titles overseas on 3DS and they'll likely need to pull through again since SE rarely directly publishes in the West on the platform in recent times (no title at all in 2015 I believe).
If VII and VIII do well, just maybe.

It depend in our taste i guess but i really like the small interactions between us players with the girls.
The battle system may be slow but highly calculating u can troll urself badly if u just keep attacking. U need to balance for shielding, attack and damage builder. I really liked the game overall.
And of course, the music is totally great.^~^
Any other import purchases? Perhaps the Great Ace Attorney?

It's in the thread title. The UK is one hour behind CEST.
I realize some folks here are being facetious but I have no idea why people are still holding out for GAA at a Nintendo Direct of all things.
There's been 0 indication it's getting translated and quite a lot of indication that it isn't, and even if it were it would be absolutely bizarre for them to announce it less than a week before a new mainline entry in the series comes out in English.
Of course, if you're looking for lemon juice in the wound, I'd say there's a small chance Great Ace Attorney 2 gets announced on the Japanese Direct, given it's likely to show up at TGS and the first game was initially announced (as "a new Ace Attorney project") in a Direct. (Emphasis on "small" chance, though - the Direct is focused on games coming out this year, which GAA2 definitely wouldn't fall under.)

Last I checked amazon preorders of DQ VII were around 40,000 so *maybe* there's a chance it doesn't sell like shit? One can hope.

This game was good but I didn't really enjoy it as much as the one that was localized on the DS for some reason. I think it's one of those games where they seemingly improved upon everything but lost some of the "charm," in the process. The pirate battles were really fun at the start but the fact that they're so frequent makes them feel less special than the tank ones and kinda hurts the pacing of the game.
Never forget the legit folder leak for the last Direct.
That leak changed the way I look at Nintendo rumours from now on. Holy cow, never expected that to happen to Nintendo.

Over the next 24 hours we'll probably get a 4chan leak and a more credible leak with a printed piece of paper detailing the entirety of the direct in comic sans font.

with MH3U, 4U and even Generations sales in the West, with the amiibo worldwide interest 8and the balance between production cost of an actual toys VS ww distribution ammortization), I really can see only two reasons for this not coming west:
- TV Cartoon hiring agreement still to be closed (if they actually have interest in putting it on air alongside the game)
- NX version in development, that in the West could help sales (compared to Japan the 3DS install base penetration is solid but lower, so the launch-hype of a new hw could be seen as an opportunity
Is there a Lagiacrus amiibo? I only heard of Rathalos, Rathian, Barioth and Qurupeco so far.
