Nope Etria, but I firmly belive that browsing online stores and hovering the "Buy it now" button increases the chances of localization

I hope Beyond the Labyrinth gets localised.
they don't have anything for the wii u this holiday. the 3ds is their de facto only system for the next six months. they really do need to push the hell out of it.
this makes sense too - they supported the ds into 2012. the wii u is going to essentially be scrapped while the 3ds can be their less expensive legacy system as they try to establish the nx.
the good news for folks is that it means more 3ds localizations. there really aren't a whole lot of other options for nintendo and third parties on the thing.
It was the same way with the GBA.

I have a hard time seeing the 3DS as a big fallback. It's sales will continue to slide, especially with NX coming out.

Not if NX is coming out during the back end of 2017. I honestly do not believe it'll be out by March.
if nintendo truly does have an announcement/event... i just can't see it being over a year away from the announcement. that sort of thing would be suicide this day and age.
Yeah, I suppose Nintendo will bring as many third party titles as possible, with very small internal development this upcoming year and (I say) the beginning of 2018.

What this about a Nintendo made Disney platformer, Disney Amiibos and 3 game exclusivity deal?
i'm surprised metroid prime fans disliked federation force. i thought they were naturally drawn to disappointing spinoffs.
They haven't decided on platform yet, but Hino thinks 3DS is a great fit. Though that footage looked to good to be a 3DS game.
She probably meant Level-5. I don't see Nintendo developing for 3DS after NX releases either, Nintendo have always been the one of the firsts to abandon the platform (their last game on GBA was Donkey Kong Country 3 in late 2005, they even have skipped Mother 3 because they thought system is long dead)

Yeah this direct will likely be very tame. A good chunk of the unreleased 3DS games are already in Japan. I know Japan has a direct as well but I'm guessing some of them will be exclusive.

I don't believe THIS one, but there have been legit folder leaks. A past direct, and also wasn't there a folder leak from Sony or Microsoft this year?

I know this is a dig at the Prime series, but they are NOT spinoffs in my book
I hear for the GAF servers when NX announcements drops, it will be legendary.

Considering we're still dying for more NX info, it makes sense. Though at this point we basically know what to expect and we'd just wait for the Direct to come.

That's what I've been speculating since 2015...I'm fine with it as long as I get to play DQ XI on 3ds, otherwise I'll have to buy a new system for it.

I'd be more excited for this direct if Nintendo's 2016 had been better. Its been absolute rubbish bar a couple of good bits, Kirby or Fire Emblem. Except for Pokemon not much to get hyped about till NX news starts coming.

To tell me about stuff we already know is coming? Great. Pokemon is something I always like to hear about of course, but I'm not especially hyped for any of the mentioned stuff.
Don't think there's been a full Direct without a new game announcement before. I'm sure we'll get a new game tomorrow too.

Metroid Federation Force Football 2: Free Kick will be free2play on 3ds and mobile. I wish the fans would stop complaining, nintendo are giving you a free game for fuck sake.

Naturally I'd need to have a recap of EVERY direct, but one on Feb 13th 2014 only had Pokemon Battle Trozei and Rusty's Real Deal Baseball announced from what I could see:

The October 25th 2012 one wasn't a worldwide Direct so doesn't really count but I think Crashmo was new to it

Now that I think about it, that could be a great ND. I'd really love to see GBA VC on 3DS/N3DS, and why not a few digital DS games.
Also please confirm Pokémon GSC on VC: having them right after the direct (as they like to do it) would be a nice surprise while everyone is waiting for Sun/Moon.

I'd love if they teased the NX reveal somehow. Not anything real in regards to information, just admitting that it exists and will be revealed in the near future.
Like a podest with a little written card that reads NX on it and the words 'later this month' or 'soon'...

Talking about Pokemon, we also need Pokemon Pinball on GBC VC. There's no reason we got everything but that one.
3DS also had many third party game though lol.

It is Konami lol. U would had better chance learning Japanese language first before Konami localized that game.T_T

The Trev leak if plans haven't changed in this respect leads me to believe any unseen 3DS games wouldn't release till next year at the earliest, but I'm hopeful for some now and maybe plans changed and we will even see something else new retail this year (more eShop games for this year yabe always been on the take, and I'm hoping for Detective Pikachu).
