Just thinking about this game and all the various cities and environments included that we haven't even seen shots of yet gets me really hyped. It may not be GOTY for all the magazines and awards but it will definately be mine unless something happens suddenly that screws the whole game up or it gets delayed

AFAIK you should be able to play it on either 1st or 3rd person view, just as in Morrowind.

I've never played an Elder Scrolls game before, but if Oblivion brings in praise, I'll most likely pick it up for the 360.

If you can play in third person, that would be awesome. I like to see the character I am playing. Especially if I go to so much trouble to customize them at the start of the game.

Third person mode in Morrowind looked so goofy and played even goofier. Granted, I didn't play it a long time because the game itself didn't draw me in, but I would just prefer the game have a control/view setting that is built around being in third person than a first person game that draws back from the character but does little else to adapt to your playing preference.

And being a little story intensive at the beginning would also be nice. You know, draw the player in, and then open it up. Morrowind failed there.

Nah....PGR3 is that game....
