Seriously, there is no denying I'm a Xbox fan and that I'm obviously biased but at least you'll never see me getting all negative on your average PS2/NGC game topic because they are not on my system of choice. I honestly think this forum would be a much better place (not that it's an awful place either) if everyone behaved that way. But I guess that's just me.

Actually, I have also expected much more out of next gen...but thus far, things have been disappointing. Do you have any media of what you'd consider nextgen?

This does look nice, though. The trailer from E3 was especially impressive as it was running at a solid 60 fps. Who knows whether the final game will, though...

Actually, three enemies. There's two humanoid thingies holding bloody swords in the bg, and what look like 2 corpses on either side of the monster. But whatever. Self-shadowing is all this game lacks right now. The actual art is pretty good, and the forest scenes look very nice indeed. Is this game gonna be at TGS? PEACE.

This is basically the first shot of the new magic effects, if you assume of course that the fireball he is apparently spitting looks anything like the magic that the character would do =)

Dang yo. My frothing demand for this game keeps getting higher and higher. So far the enemy variety looks a lot better than what was offered with Morrowind. I just hope that combat always remaind challenging as you gain in levels. Morrowind gets boring pretty quickly when you have a redgard warrior that can kill almost anything in two hits and you're not even halfway through the game yet.


I'd kill for a Diablo III that looks that good or better. =)

Yeah, that's what I find weird about the first shot, the grass dissapearing after a short distance. It's something that I've only since in the oldest media. All the newer stuff + trailers shows grass and foliage stretching much further into the distance. Makes me wonder where (or more precisely when) that screen is from.

I remember reading an OXM issue a while back, and IIRC, they're using their own engine.

The trees in the distance in that screen also have no detail compared to the one in the foreground. This is all nitpicking as it might not be a current screen, and it is gorgeous regardless.
