Methodman: Yup. It's basically a puzzle element. Crying makes her tears flood things and lets her run fast, Laughing lets her do a twirl move and launch gusts of wind, Angry gives her flaming attacks and the ability to stomp down on things, and Happy restores health.

At first I thought the game was going to be _really_ slow, given that added puzzle element, but a recent trailer on the official site showed some pretty fast-moving platforming. The umbrella is basically a multi-purpose tool for whatever the situation needs.

So he was right. I must say, I'm getting closer and closer to ordering this, I've been dying for a 2D platformer ever since Kirby, and that didn't really fulfill me as it wasn't really a platformer as such.
