Looks like shit, and i bet it'll play like shit (like the previous 2)

Besides, its a FR game. BOMB BOMB

Youd think so, but why have their games since Goldeneye sucked so badly??? I reckon they fluked it

Yep.
I think Goldeneye for N64 is one of most overrated games ever. Sweet, 8 FPS. Tons of fun and tons of skill required to play through sputters. I'll be surprised if this game locks at 60FPS for PS2, period.

The Map-Making tool is far superior to the previous ones, giving players the kind of flexibility similar to those in Epic's popular Unreal series. Players can now create mission types with triggers (objective types), they can add vehicles (that can drive up stairs and through doorways), build outdoor or indoor levels, add weather effects, and determine a host of other options.
YES! :D

It already looks better than Timesplitters 2 ever did, and I didn't think TS2 was horrible to look at. (Then again, I'm not your typical GAF graphics whore, so my standards may be a little more lax than some. :p ) If the game plays anything like the other two did (and if Graeme Norgate is composing the soundtrack again), I know I'm going to have a great time with it, and that's all that I'm really concerned with.

Just out of curiosity, are you one of those people who has a problem with the aiming cursor and/or lack of a jump button? Those are the two biggest complaints I've heard from people about the gameplay in the TS games. While neither one is something I personally have a problem with (the aiming system doesn't bother me, and anything that eliminates bunny-hopping in an FPS is a good thing in my book), I can at least understand where you're coming from if that's where your problems with the game(s) lie.

I will miss the Megaman proportions on the character models, but I'll still pick this one up at some point. Timesplitters 2 is my favorite FPS, edging out Halo.

Love the artstyle. Free Radical is criminally underrated, one of this generation's most slept on development houses. Am I the only one who thought Second Sight fucking rocked?

Pick it up. Second Sight owns you. The critical thrashing Second Sight received will stand as one of the great mysteries of this generation. The game, while short, is one of the most enjoyable adventures released this gen. Second Sight starts slow, which probably turned off a good deal of the reviewers, but it builds up into an incredibly engaging story that doesn't relent until the credits roll. Buy it. Trust me. I did enjoy Psi-Ops, but Second Sight is so much better.

Timesplitters 2 co-op was absolute bliss. We wasted many hours on that mode, and I can't wait for another romp through TS3. I sincerely hope the map-maker is robust enough to make really interesting maps now.

Thanks for the impressions. I also enjoyed Psi-Ops even though I didn't buy it. Which version do you own? Are there any major graphical or control differences between them?

When I finished reading the post, the first thing that popped into my mind was HALO OWNED! This game sounds fantastic, just give me the remote mines and online play and I'm set! There is no greater satisfaction than sticking a remote mine on an enemy's face and watch them flail around and then detonate the remote mine. ... sigh.... Good times good times

yes Second Sight was great.. in many ways it gave me the same feeling as when i first played MGS1 on psx.. and that aint a bad feeling

I've only heard bad things about Second Sight when it comes to the difficulty level. Supposedly it is far too easy. Is there a difficulty level you can set and does it do much to up the challenge?

Second Sight is somewhat easy. I best it on its hardest setting. Still, the game is engaging and, at times, challenging. The game is a great rental.
