GamePro have revealed a weapon that will be featured exclusively in the PS2 version of RE4. The gun is called "P.R.L 412", which stoods for "Plaga Removal Laser", and is said to eradicate parasite from the host's body.

i dont think it's confirmed by capcom themselfs, although some dude at capcom-europe's forum said there was a chainsaw in the game. is there a chainsaw in the cube version (i dont mean the controller)?

You can't use the chainsaw in the Cube version.

man, i dont think you guys will end up using this in the ps2 version. theres already so many good weapons in the game, this weapon seems pointless

yeah just 4 months to go. I mean people talk about rabid nfans, but the sony fans are ready to wait 10 months extra for a game that is fantastic.

I had the chance to play it... but after seeing the NGC Lineup this year it was a better idea to sell everything, play RE4 when it comes out on the PS2 and use the money for repairs on my car.

Plus I had a huge backlog of PS2/XBOX games I have to get through.

Whatever. Ports are cool. RE4 is more than the graphics. I own the GC ver. Love it. can't wait to try out the PS2 version and see how things are better or worse.


Capcom and ports. Like bread and butter.

Ps2 version will be just fine. It may look a little worse, sure, but the extra content should be worth it. People who bought the cube version should get 30 bucks off the ps2 one.
