It is actually not the codename of console but the OS that runs into it.
But yeap a new OS or a new Xbox with a new OS is coming.

how powerful we talking here ? Probably Devs will have nightmare :messenger_tears_of_joy::messenger_tears_of_joy:
I was gonna say "Why not both!"

And then I quickly remembered the topic title and realized how stupid that would sound.

Series S with 1TB storage?

Storage seems to be one of the most common Series S complaints so I won't be surprised at a higher storage SKU at the same price.

I would love a mid Gen upgrade of XSX, coming in Sept 2024. I mean, why not...like XBox One X, 4 years after the Base XBox One. Just my wish.

"Keystone" under other consoles codenames. probably hardware
All the names in the OP pic seems to be OS codenames and not hardware codenames.
And it is under other console OS codenames.

Why do Durango and Scarlett exist then if they are the same OS?
Are they?

PRODUCT_XBOX_DURANGO_HOSTOS
PRODUCT_XBOX_SCARLET_HOSTOS

Why should you give your hardware the name of Host OS?

Wtf. It's obvious the thing before Host OS are product names 🤦‍♂️

Ok.
But the list seems to be an OS list.
Durango and Scarlet OSs have different values.

But we can guess a lot of things from there...

SYSTEMOS = Xbox One System OS
GAMEOS = Xbox One Game OS
ERAOS = ???
DURANGOHOSTOS = Xbox One X OS (Game or System?)
SCARLETHOSTOS = Xbox Series OS (Game or System?)

I guess the SYSTEMOS is the same for all.
And there is a GAMEOS for each hardware.
ERAOS is Xbox One S?
It can be the same Game OS to all and different System OS but that makes less sense.

KEYSTONE is probably the GameOS for a new machine?

Seeing as Durango and Scarlett have different values and they are the same OS, I'd say those are target hardware values
They are definitively OS values... see my edit.... there are SYSTEMOS and GAMEOS... one is the same for all and the other changes depending of the hardware.
