New Xbox slim model caught in the wild.

It seems healthier to lose weight gradually through exercise and it also gives more time for the skin to readjust.
It also strengthens muscles, isn't just about losing fat.
If it was that easy then 43% of the world wouldn't be overweight.

Dude is in a better spot health wise now than he was a couple of years ago.

Bashing him personally because he is an enemy of the GAF-state.

Pretty sad to see people so invested in console gaming that everything has to be war and personal.

Gaben is the only one everyone loves despite platform faction
Quite a few people on this board have a bizarre obsession with Phil Spencer's appearance and it's for the exact reason you've outlined.

Almost as if we are on a videogame board talking about all things to do with and surrounding the videogame industry.

Weird eh?

When you see the usual suspects giving mocking emojis to comments where you say you appreciate a person's healthier appearance now than a few months ago... Then you remember you're on Neogaf.

Well if you're feeling brave (unlikely, I know) make one about someone associated with PlayStation instead and see how far that gets you. :goog_beaming_face:
I've not seen anyone else drop serious weight recently. However if I spot Donkey Kong (or Astrobot) 150lb lighter than he was in Bananza any time soon i'll definitely bring it to the boards attention.

Who even knows the names, let alone faces of the people running playÅŸtation?
All completely forgettable, they need a name tag with job title on them at all times or people have no idea who they are.
The playstation age of House, Hirai, etc is gone.
Now the faceless suits run the show.

A bodyshaming thread like that seems pretty out of place in a gaming forum, even though it was immediately clear that, once again, something like this would get more participation and popularity than many threads about actual games.

its %100 ozempic, makes you look 10 years older in 1, when you lose all that face fat too rapidly.
still he is probably healthier now.

Yes, but they make it much easier with a near 100% success rate. What's the issue?
Yep, I have been trying to get back into exercise and diet regime last 10 years and it really hasn't worked well.

Starting on the Zep now. I used to work out all the time in high school, college and after, but once the kids hit it all kind of went to shit 😅.

So good for Phil, it's certainly a much healthier state. But I don't think people need to be so serious about having a couple of laughs.

Of course it would be healthier to willpower through a proper healthy diet and 5+ hours a week of exercise.

But it's very hard to shift to that train and it is going to take time to get results while making sure not to slip. It's genuinely tough to do this. That's especially so if you have a full time job, family, friends, other things to take care of as well.

So the new GLP drugs help by controlling those cravings, reducing appetite and more. You still will want to have a proper diet and do weightlifting (too much muscle loss). But they help shortcut that start and keep your mind from going off and eating crap.

He has talked about the weight loss in some stream but I couldn't find it the last time this topic was up. Iirc he was cutting sugar among other things. Risk of diabetes perhaps?
Most people go fat when they get older, especially those with muscles in their younger years. Maybe he just want to catch the falling knife of aging before it's too late to not end up with sagging man boobs and a Studio Ghibli droop face?
yea all those rich and famous people who lost 20+ pounds right around the same time ozempic came out just did it by cutting out sugar

For 99.9999% of people (look at studies), the options aren't do it gradually through exercise or do it fast through ozempic. The options are don't lose any weight or lose it with ozempic. Look at our society with a massive obesity problem, clearly diet and exercise aren't working for most people.

Shouldn't people try diet and exercise before moving to these things?

Doing resistance training during the shot and not losing too quick is essential for minimising muscle loss and loose skin.

But no need to diet before, although most going on it certainly will have tried everything before. The shot just massively reduces any impulses to eat and works instantaneously. You might look at a BLT sandwich, think that it looks delicious indeed, but you feel no need to eat it. Or have one candy, enjoy it, and not reach for a second one.

Cutting sugar and alcohol does a world of difference and you notice it within just a couple months. Work up a good sweat 2-3 times a week, avoid processed foods... there's no crazy secret behind it. Most people just have no self control or discipline.

Switch your sausage muffin and cheese breakfast with a banana, some nuts or granola. Once you get in the habit, it makes it easier.

That's what happens you either stay fat die early or lose the weight and live longer you don't see fat 100 year olds do you

The oldest known obese person was Daniel Lambert who lived from 1770 to 1809 and was famous for his large size. He was an English gaol keeper and animal breeder from Leicester, and his weight reached 700 lb (320 kg) by 1805.

Not saying they all cut sugar lol, just talking about Phil. I wish I could find the stream, was just a small thing said inbetween segments, think it was Destin but not sure.

Either way people where I live has lost weight rapidly the last couple of years from popularized sugar free diets and concerns about diabetes.
Problem seems to be to keep the weight… They all swell up again in like a year.

I tried cutting sugar as well, I don't need it for weight but I can fall asleep after eating something sweet and wanted to check if it was blood sugar levels spiking. But I couldn't handle the temperament changes… 🤬😤👿 I made better metal though! 🎸🤘
