He was the first person I heard telling Xbox gamers to keep their eyes open for something from MS during the VGAs.
His hardware quotes are sketchy but they were still in the ballpark. So far he's right about at least one console being in the double digits. If the PS5 is DD as well he would have called it a long way out before anyone else did.

It was an open secret that Microsoft would tease a game, Matt Booty had an interview at X019 in middle of November where he said they had so many games in development that they would just casually announce them any chance they get. That game turned out to be Hellblade 2. If that is the low bar to make somebody an insider in your mind, I don't know what to tell you.

I'm thinking 2/3rds up could be the motherboard that contains most everything like APU/RAM/SSD etc plus HSF/Vapour Chamber with the fan connected to the top of the case as we've seen. Then ribbon cable(s) down to the bottom rear for the I/O and a power supply cable similar/same as we see on One S/X.
Would that be realistic at all? Silly? Down right stupid?
Maybe some graphics experts could mock-up some internal layout pictures...? I'm just not good enough with paint.

Based on teraflops, a 2080 is between 8.9 and 10 TF (10 in boost mode, 8.9 in normal mode). So a 9.2 TF PS5 would fit his estimate. Which is just that, he doesn't know, he believes it based on what he heard and read on places like Era, where he actively writes in the speculation thread and of course knows what Klee said.

That's the context of my posts about this and why I've been asking for specific, numbered predictions/leaks that predate Jan 2019 and April 2019. Everything afterwards could just be coattail riding.

any true gamer wants both consoles to do well. Both in terms of sales and power. Healthy competition is good for the industry. With Nintendo effectively releasing handhelds that are as powerful as 2005 consoles they are as irrelevant as a console maker can be to hardcore gamers. We need both Sony and ms to push each other.
A 9 tflops console that has to handle ray tracing, destruction and other physics heavy effects jaguar cpus didn't allow this gen is going to crumble under the stress of running these games at 4k60.

Klee only said that X is 12 TF (and PS5 too) after Microsoft said X is 2x One X and everybody assumed that they meant 12 TF (well, aside from a bunch of people that thought they meant GCN equivalent TF, LOL). That's the very first time he said 12. Before that it was always only 10+. He later said that target specs were always 12+, but then why didn't he say so since summer when he first came up with 10+? Surely knowing 12+ would have been much more impressive and relevant back then?
PS4 BC was announced by Mark Cerny in April in the Wired article. But nice try giving that to Klee.

That's BS and you know it. For the longest time 10 TF were seen as highly likely for XSX and only 8TF for PS5 by Team Green. Only when XSX was rumored to be 12 TF did the messaging change and Team Green started to talk about PS5 can only do 9 TF max. They only do it because it means PS5 is lower. It's not a positive standpoint, it's pathetic.

That's BS. I believed in 12 TF since I read the Reddit leak in January. Which was at the end of January, when somebody showed me the imgur. It was always 12 TF XSX for me and always 8 TF PS5, until Oberon showed a 9.2 TF PS5. Reddit leak was spot on (I suppose it was Albert Penello, because whoever it was had huge insight), later verified by Oberon leak and then by AMD leak. Those are the constants, the actual truths that were known before anybody else had that knowledge. I think the only thing in the Reddit leak that was publicly known at that point in time was that Bleeding Edge exists.
