Nah I just meant the 1st party Xbox Studios games. Microsoft published. Cause so far for PS5 there's the free Astro platformer, but the big one is Spider-Man Miles Morales. So this fall was gonna be Spidey vs Halo, but now it's just Spidey I guess.

Pretty sure Sony still has some un announced launch exclusives, dam those are gonna be daggers at this point!

Not much to showcase next gen. Not even a Ridge Racer game on any of the consoles. On PS360 launch we had Resistance, Amped 3, Kameo, Genji, Condemned, etc.

If one console doesn't sell enough any third party studio will spend money in optimize for that hardware at least they
receive money and just Sony and Xbox cannot pass than 7 years doing that if the sales are bad and the people don't
buy consoles because exist a 18% of delta if one has game which use the hardware and only can be found there.

Timdog has his hands full damage controlling 343i's monkey business (pun intended). Stop worrying about these internet personalities. XsX multiplats are going to look slightly better, but imperceptible to the eye. It might not even be enough for a resolution advantage. It will probably be down to better shadows or better lighting. But extra content powered by PSAdv will be noticeable to the eye. Timmy has no effect on Playstation's success.

I really like that Sony is shipping Astrobot on every PS5. I know it's a game developed around the DualSense but it's a full fledged plataformer nonetheless. It's really cool when you stop to think that just by buying this next-gen system you automatically get a next-gen experience (controller focused) for free.
 
Sony should just show at next event or blog something like "here are the next-gen exclusive games for PS5 launch". Case closed.

I'm so fucking glad that Sony Studios are focused developing games for PS5 only in the last 2 years. Not some croas-gen bullshit. Well, done Jimbo. Not me, Jim Ryan

Am I correct in saying that in holiday 2020 Microsoft is literally launching more next-gen console models than games with any kind of exclusivity in relation to PlayStation?

What in the world is going on at Xbox HQ?

I for one am happy, its needs work to shine.

that 7 hopefully will turn into a 9, saying that it is kinda funny how Microsoft have dropped the ball on this. They have been planning this for years, for such a massive corporation like Microsoft to get this so wrong, is to me at least, rather amusing.
 
Personal preferences aside, and speaking seriously for a second, this is a seriously shitty development for Halo and XBox fans, and I take no pleasure in their disappointment.

It's also bad for the industry in general. Both consoles need a strong launch, to make sure we have healthy competition going forward, which benefits all of us.

It's because some of us knew all the troubles were happening, doubted Xbox when they claimed everything was fine, and now are just happy to be right on something that some of us assumed.
Sorry for enjoying seeing through Microsoft's bullshit and being happy to trust our own instincts...
 
Props to Microsoft for delaying the game. It really needed it. But I think Sony needs to confirm at least one more first party game launching alongside the console. So far we have Astro's Playroom and Spider-Man Miles Morales, my prediction is that Destruction All Stars is a launch title too.

For me, I'm not giddy, I'm just baffled by how more and more ridiculous the situation is becoming.

Microsoft came out guns a-blazing at the start of the year announcing the console, run their mouth for 6 months with a lot of tough talk and passive-aggressive jabs at Sony, but as soon as they had to start walking the walk everything began to crumble to dust. Tone-deaf presentations that completely miss the point of pushing the new console for people in a variety of ways. All games they show are still running on "equivalent hardware" on PC. Halo looks like the alpha of an Xbox One game, then it is delayed. Literally zero other exclusive of some weight planned for the next year at the very least. Ray-tracing disappearing from store descriptions. Phil spinning more than a Beyblade in interviews making retarded and contradictory claims just to have something to boast and look good over in the there and then.

Meanwhile they still have to announce ANOTHER major piece of hardware, on top of a console that at this point they almost seem to be trying to hide and make people forget about rather than advertise.

Yeah, I like shutting down FUD and delusional fantastical claims from the Xbots... But even I feel bad enough not to kick them when they're down and being hung out to dry by Xbox.

I genuinely feel sad for the gamers who just want their preferred system to have games!
And that Halo thread is full of sadness... 😢
