I'd be very disappointed if they simply use the same blue cases with the only difference being a 5 on the banner.

How in the hell will they manage to do that? This is something that has been bugging me and I can't wait to see if they will actually do it - those games were never optimized for SSD and I'm really anxious to see if the load speeds are really that insane that the PS5 can insta-load everything on the PS4 even though the PS4 was never made with an SSD in mind.
Are we really going to see the PS5 loading a save of the Witcher 3 in one second without any patches involved? I would literally cry if those new gen consoles utterly remove loading times from BOTH BC games as well as current gen ones!

Remove completely the load in all BC games is a bit hard I guess because some
Games have atrocious loading...
But the speeds rumored for PS5 is in the magnitude of 30x or more the speeds of the PS4's HDD.
So in theory it should speed up a lot.

I'd love this to be true.
If it's 30x faster, that means that a 60 sec PS4 loading screen will load in 2 seconds on the PS5. That's close enough for insta-load to me. Even SNES and Genesis games needed 1-2 seconds to load a stage.
This will be awesome if it happens.

What kind of paid MS employe would I be when I :
1. Shitcan MS for their stupid and inept Xbox One. Rubbish their always on, no second hand games, Kinect in the box, lower spec, higher price.
2. Call out their previous handling of first party studios such as letting Bungle walk away and turning Rare into a shadow of their former Nintendo self.
3. Praise Sony's first party developers as being ahead of MSs.
4. Buying a PS4 over the OG Xbox One.
However, I am happy to praise MS when they deserve it. And they have done alot to get it. Like :
1. The One X is an excellent console. I bought one.
2. They are trying to build up their first party studios and have bought new ones and spent alot of money to set up a new one in The Inititive.
3. Their efforts to get BC going, even to the extent of giving free One X upgrade patches for nothing.
Now I think MS will continue the XSX in the same vein as the One X. I think they are on the right path.
But on here unless you say that none of MS first party studios are as good as any Sony ones, or that every Sony exclusive is better than MS, or that the PS 5 will be more powerful, have a faster SSD and be cheaper then you are an Xbox shill and fanboy.

They remind me of the 4K UHD movie cases when the first came about. I have over a hundred 4K UHD movies in my collection, and I would love for Sony to have a similar case for the PS5 games. They look so premium in the black cases with the alternative white color scheme.

Numbers don't lie, they don't care about feelings too. When someone say Playstation is the world most powerful brand, that statement is backed by numbers. Also no one is excluding Wii, it sold amazing and ended up fourth on all time console sold after PS2, PS4 and PS1 .
Also handhelds is Nintendo playground, but the market has shrunk so much after smartphones to the point of considering 3DS sales of 75m a runaway success in 2019 while PSP 86m in 2004 a huge failure. Perspective is key here.
I'm sorry that you feel hurt about Playstation selling more, but "don't read much into it"
