Proelite did some calculations and 350mm2 can get you 60 total with 56 active with a cut down zen 2. its possible that ms went wide and slow and thats why they have a much bigger apu.
When the PS5 being slightly more powerful first came out, MS hasn't even sent out dev kits. With consoles being x86 and using AMD GPUs, developers could code the game with out a XSX or PS5 dev it and have 80% of the work done.

I think its the only way to get above XSX number. It would bring 1.2x density and 15% lower TDP, therefore this is the only way I see Sony having 13TF to MS's 12TF.
Question when was the last time you heard spec info about the consoles? Was it weeks ago, months ago etc that would give us insight of maybe things did change if it was long ago
