But I am quite confident in saying both consoles are close in power and still even with the latest dev kits in some first party hands with Xbox still having a power advantage.

I'd almost want the PS5 Reveal to happen in March to debunk these rumors, pastebin posts, leakers, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised. The reveal could possibly be more akin to those longer special Nintendo Directs, like when they reveal a new Smash fighter.

Personally I just want news, so I wouldn't mind either way. I think a PS Meeting like what they did last time might be the best bet, though.

Both systems are going to be awesome. Whatever you choose or both. Then early 2021 when 20Tflop+ from amd/nvidia PC will see some new headway which will be awesome sauce

PC is going to have some wicked options to be sure. But I'll probably be rolling with the new consoles for at least a couple of years before I upgrade my PC again.

Bingo on this! If it means they release a wicked box with great features that is a great leap ahead for the new generation, they can announce it by sending me a post card, for all I care! Actually, makes some sense to skip events and such that cost millions as part of a product reveal you will lose money on per box initially. So that means..they're saving a bunch of money because PS5 will be a 15.8 TF beastie! Domination confirmed!

1.) The PS5 will be revealed at a PlayStation Meeting event for the press/media on February 5, 2020.

2.) The PlayStation Meeting will be held at Sony Hall in New York City.

3.) At the PlayStation Meeting the console's design, controller, UI/home screen, specs and features will be revealed.

4.) The PlayStation 5 will be backwards compatible with all PS4 games.

5.) The PS5 will release, worldwide, in October 2020.

6.) The Sony PS5 will cost $499 USD / £449 UK / €449 EU / ¥54,999 JP.

7.) PlayStation 5 specs will be almost on par with Xbox Series X, which will cost $100 more at launch.

8.) Pre-orders for the PS5 will go live after the event on February 5.

9.) Gran Turismo 7, MLB The Show 21, Demon Souls Remastered, Godfall and Legendz are some of the PS5's launch titles.
