I wish someone would leak something on the shooter Guerilla games is working on now I'm worried if Socom will come out or not after VFXVeteran VFXVeteran may have leaked the games being shown for PS Meeting. :messenger_pouting:
 
It could still happen, but I honestly never believed there would be a Playstation 5 event that truly revealed PS5 in February. Just so much appears different with how Sony is revealing PS5 this time around compared to any prior console, even no E3 etc. So I guess it's just a wait and see.

I hate to be negative but i feel the github leak is real, mainly because they posted a article and confirmed with there sources, and they are a pretty damn reliable source, i'm praying it not, because 2ghz part sounds like a very unreliable console, and it seems a little under powered compared to X.
 
Some talented person should take that gif of Gob and buster bluth dancing infront of the casket to yhe song final countdown and edit tomyboy on there lol
 
Well, looks like nothing has been announced so far 😂

OK, here's my theory, PlayStation announced the reveal event on 31st January of 2013 with the reveal event taking place on the 20th of February, 2013, so that's 20 days from the announcement to the reveal event.

Maybe they'll announce it in the next few days like say, February 8th is the announcement, and then the reveal event in on 28th of February.

Let's hope this is the case because IF THE REVEAL EVENT IS NOT IN FEBRUARY, then Kleegamefan will be wrong on this one and I'm afraid that what he said about the other details like specs and stuff might be wrong as well....Let's hope not. 😭😭😭

Just a quick question. If PS don't announce the date today, why does that mean it's not happening in Feb? They could announce two days from now and it could still happen in Feb lol?

Keep the faith guys, just because the "insiders" were wrong about 5th Feb doesn't mean there won't be something announced in Feb.

You will actually see a lot more old games supporting high frame rates, 4K resolution and HDR (even ray tracing) on PS5 than has been possible on Xbox One. Sony are very much concerned about saving old games from older platforms. They have the first Gran Turismo game running on PlayStation 5 at 120fps with ray tracing enabled.

I think we're not getting a reveal in February.

Here are the major dates on Sony's 1H2020:

GDC - March 18th
Ghosts of Tsushima - "Summer"
TLoU: P2 - May 29th
E3 - June 9th

My guess: April/May.

Feb just seems too soon. It's not necessary.

But to have had the dream in the first place is what really matters.
Besides, now we can start a betting pool as to when people guess the first new official info will hit. I'm sadly too poor to participate in the pool.
I will guess Feb. 12th. I wouldn't want to guess anything too close to March or not on a Wednesday.
 
Writing was on the wall. Obviously they ain't showing shit any time "Soon".

Expect a May reveal at the earliest.
 
I'm thinking (Hoping) they drop the announcement on everyone last second today, even if they aren't fully ready for a reveal.. just to keep the faith :)
