man it must be hard being a nintendo fan.

at least xbox and sony fans have SOMETHING to look forward to every gen when it comes to powerful tech. nintendo gives their fans nothing. here i am scared sony will limit the vision of the devs with a 9 tflops gpu and i look over at my switch with its 0.19 tflops. the new zelda looks barely any different than the cross gen zelda botw which already looked last gen in 2017.

with ssd and cpu making next gen upgrades even more drastic, when will nintendo catch up? can this thread handle a three way console war?

Ms just cannot get a break from Sony. Obviously this is a joke snowflakes.

Might play it never picked it up on my PS4 lost interest in it before this was released.

So is this still an exclusive or not then Sony boys? You know, because Gears 5 apparently isn't an exclusive. What does all this mean? Please, do tell?

Because from where I'm sat, this just means more people will play a damn good game that I enjoyed a lot, and I can't wait to see it in true 4k at ultra detail.

So it's quality has decreased and its now shit or what? I'm genuinely confused. I enjoyed this game a lot, and now it's on pc, does that mean I have to start telling people it's shit?

Console warring kinda becomes irrelevant if this becomes norm. Play on PS, Xbox, PC or whatever, its gonna be few settings slider the difference so no reason to kill eachother over it. PS360 time still king in terms of fuckery lol

The quality is the same but being a exclusive grants a value, especially when Its tailor made for the system. There is a quality to be exclusive. Just like when a man or woman fucks around. value and image gets lower and Its less special.
OR If you get triggered by my example, lets take a shirt at Walmart and compared to a tailor made one.

Any how, lets see how this plays out...
 
what are they doing? exclusives powered them to the top, and they starting follow 3rd place strategy? are they dumb?

you will sit on the sofa and will ask yourself, why do i need PS5 from now? exclusives anyways comes to PC.

"Why?"

Why is it so bad that more people can't play good games? Why, as a gamer, would you not want more people in more people to experience things you enjoy? Seriously? It doesn't invalidate your purchase or anything.

I'm really curious to see people's take on this, because as a pc player first and foremost, I'm used to seeing many people in many places play many games, some with higher quality than me, and some without. And I don't care, because if I enjoyed a game, I'm just glad more people will play it.

So....

the game is mediocrity incarnate, but before it was exclusive so it had to be defended.

now it's not exclusive anymore and the fanboy shield has been deactivated.

This isnt that big of a deal but this pretty much takes convinces enthusiasts to not buy a PS5. Why settle for 30 fps 9 tflops games when you can just buy a rtx 3080 with 20 tflops and run everything at 60 fps?

Bizarre approach from Sony because it thought they would be targeting enthusiasts. but then again a lot of things have been bizarre from them recently. cancelling e3. revealing logos. revealing god fall as their first next gen game. taking six months to clarify that hardware rt is a thing. letting github leaks fester over and over.
 
Wonder if the thinking was, since Decima is already ported to PC why not release Horizon there too? It's like free money at this point. Not like it's selling PS4s anymore 3 years later.
 
imo, it is a psnow push. To be competitiv, they need to let things run natively if they can. But yeah, without exclusives, consoles become shitty locked down pcs.
 
Damn I thought Jason was gonna drop some PS5 news.... Still, pretty cool to see Horizon on PC, wonder what Sony will do with other exclusives
