Sometimes I wonder what planet some of you are on.

They said they would have something related because they love super bowl. They had Xbox one consoles set up, had madden being played, showed an exclusive console design and had an advert...? At no point did they say they would show anything new, show the new console, or drop any bombs.

And that's a fail because of your own yard stick...?

In that case, Sony failed even harder, because they were supposed to be there as well, according to people on the internet. Same as Xbox. Only they showed DICK.

So yeah, welcome to the twisted logic Club...

A meltdown? Lol, I don't even care if they have an ad or not, it's just messed up how they for people hyped like that. Just to on twitter, most people thought the way they made a big deal about being at Superbowl meant that they were gonna show something.

Yeah i know, still they didn't allowed us to completely disable the light and the only use that "got" was sometimes noticing that the lights were changing depending of what was happening on the game, and it was during night sessions, otherwise i wouldn't even notice.

And as a side note, thank God that the kinectic/camera fade ended early this gen.

30 second advert? They made a whole 3 minute video about their presence at Superbowl. And this is the year a new console releases and they go on talking big about Xbox at Superbowl, why wouldn't people assume something big could be shown?

Like I already said, I cared little for anything being shown, but having seen the reaction online it's become clear how they misled people. These are the same guys that talk about 100 exclusives at E3 and then show Battleturds.

Sorry, but I could not name that game anything else after the footage I saw and after they hyped up "exclusives" only to show that really bad game. This one is on Microsoft, not me.

You really are coming off badly here mate. If YOU expected something that wasn't promised that's on you. If I shout at my wife because there isn't steak for dinner, when she's already told me it's burger and chips, that's not her fault.

The number of exclusives MS talked about last e3 was damn impressive, it was like 20 games, and then a shit ton of multiplats sure. Multiplats that play better on one x, why wouldn't they show them...? Or is it wrong for big companies to show multiplats too?

Ok so Sony when they show the PS5, need to show over 20 exclusives and no multiplats. Got it. I mean we want to keep it fair right?

Well, I'm guessing the fifth, as that would make sense with using it in that context (fifth amendment and all that), but no way an event is happening on the 5th lol

Guess we're back to it being this month though.

What 14 exclusives? Some indie titles nobody heard of and nobody played? That's exactly the type of misleading marketing Microsoft is known for, they talk big about dozen exclusives being shown at E3 to get people hyped and show some indie games nobody really cares about. At least for them people like you still eat it up.

Yeah, I saw people's reaction online and also thought they might show something. Even some Xbox YouTubers and personalities were made to believe that there would be something shown. I guess I forgot to expect the worst when it comes to Xbox marketing.

= DS4 stick placement is just superior as there is no reason to have them fucked up like on xbox other than years of "getting used to it"

he is an xbox fan . he has no agenda. but as a respected fan he is allowed to be disappointed from time to time like i m disappointed with sonys silence or some of their other stuff. Fans do not have to support their console maker of choice 100% of the times. your mentality that whoever complains about xbox or PS has agenda against them is kinda messed up.

Microsoft Surface is the official sideline viewing system provider and the official laptop/tablet of the NFL. So they have both a technological and marketing presence at every NFL event.

The marketing for the Superbowl wasn't particularly agreesive. Just a lite bit a friendly Xbox promotion.

Agenda? Lol. Just look at my post history, I have defended and criticised both Sony and Microsoft on this thread. If what I say doesn't fit with your own narrative doesn't mean I have an agenda. Just go look at all the disappointment online by Xbox fans who thought they were getting Xbox reveal (game or console) at Superbowl and you'll see that even biggest fans out there were disappointed, so let's not make it sound like the ones with "agenda" are the only ones saying this.

Look, I know what you mean by what you said, but Klee has his sources as developers working for next-gen games on next-gen consoles, and he has been verified TWICE by ResetEra's moderators from the likes of ZHuge and others, and he is a "credible" source as they have stated, and he was the 1st one who said that both consoles are gonna be more powerful than AMD's RX 5700 XT (which is 9.5 TF RDNA), now many reports are stating both consoles are 12 TF or more or around.

He was the 1st one who said there'll be a XSX reveal at the VGAs, so yeah I believe him because he has very solid sources (developers) and he now has the full specs sheet for both consoles and said "nothing has changed" from what he has reported long ago in terms of consoles' specs, this is his last post before he banned himself.

We'll see...

Sony earning release is tomorrow (this mid-night because Japan tomorrow is a bit early) and we were talking about the new acquisitions...

The point is if they closed the deal last quarter and asked to hide it they can't hide anymore because you need to show it in the financial earnings... it is mandatory to show it in the next financials results.

So if tomorrow there is no hint for acquisitions that means no deal was made or signed last quarter.

Honestly if it turns out he and others saying similar are wrong, at least in most of their cases (Klee included) I wouldn't say they're the "wrong source". Keep in mind these guys are just the messengers; they're supposed to be getting these claims from other people. People who could very well be wrong, or were right at one point but wrong now, or are pulling these insiders along on a string knowingly lying to them. Bad sources and all that.

That's why the sources tend to stay anonymous; if things blow up in their face they can use the birdie as a fall guy.

IMO the VMU was better than small built-in screens because you could detach the VMU and use it like a Tamagotchi. Yeah, it straddled the line of OG Gameboy and a Game.com in terms of power, and didn't have any dedicated games made for it IIRC, but it offered a convenience that built-in second screens don't.

Like, picture a Joy-Con with a small monochrome LCD screen, and you have a VMU.
