A 1Gbps connection is equal to 125Mb/s. (I think that's the right conversion). If you still have the original HDD in your console, you're stuck at <50MB/s.
I wouldn't be surprised if SSDs are also limited by the OS. I can't remember downloads to my HDD being slower than to SSD. They both show pretty much max speed which can't be accurate as you can't download faster than you write to the drive.

I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for when it comes to TVs, but to be honest, it doesn't matter a great deal. When you say low refresh, as long as it's 60, you're all good. Hell, I've seen some really good sets for cheap. You may not get the best HDR but to be perfectly blunt until HDR gets it act on gear and a decent one standard comes along, that shits a minefield anyway.
As long as you're happy with it, there's no issue. And as that price? Can't grumble. I paid over three grand for mine a few years back and I'm ready to upgrade, but I'm waiting on one of the new sets with all the 120fps jizz to reach a cheap price for 75" (currently on 65" OLED B7)

Will never happen. Xbox One was basically a $199 machine since 2014, sold third of PS4 .
$399/499 Xbox 360 couldn't outsell $600/500 PS3 (overall WW sales not NPD only)
The original Xbox slashed its price to $199 shortly after release and couldn't outsell PS2 despite being twice as powerful (that's more than 100% GPU power not including other advantages (arch and Ram)
Only way for MS to outsell Playstation is simply buying the division (brand) from Sony, and good damn luck with that

If the Lockhart is $150 cheaper .. and plays all same games at 1080p60 vs 4k 60 ... it will be the best value by far. It will outsell the Playstation in total sales ... but you can believe whatever you want.

Have you had any issues with burn-in with your OLED? Planning to upgrade my set this year, but after talking with a few people and seeing the RTINGS.com post about it I think I might pass on an OLED set becaus of the burn-in possibilities...so I was looking to do the Sony XBR-85X950H, but come to find out if won't have HDMI 2.1
so my second set I am looking is the LG 86NANO90UNA which I hope come out good in the reviews, otherwise no TV for me this year...

No problems with burn in, Ive had none at all. I've had the usual horizontal lines that come and go and seem to be an OLED panel thing. But burn in? Nope.
What I do get however is temporal burn in. So for example if I switch over to Netflix, if the user login boxes appear, they will be "burnt in" for w few seconds until the screen refreshes. Annoying but common and only happens if you immediately view dark grey afterwards.
But I've had no burn in from HUD's, or anything static, at all. I recently viewed everything under solid rgb colours to check and nothing...
It probably helps that the tv also gets a good few hours of Peppa Pig every day, which helps refresh the screen

Awesome, thanks for the info! I would try the Peppa Pig screen refresh but I think my 14 year old daughter would kill me if I tried to make her watch it for a few hours!

Reread what I wrote, I said PS3 was outselling X360 WORLD WIDE . That's why PS3 was able to catch up to a 10m sales deficiency due to releasing a year later ( year and half in EU, its strongest market)

Still unsure, what they´re capable off. They´re damn good at platforming and spiderman-esque gameplay ... but that´s it. Sucker Punch will outdo them this next gen easily. And it just hit me :
- Insomiac Games has only released 1x game on PS4 (not really new IP, nor game)
- Sucker Punch released 2 games this generation, of which 1x is a new IP
- Polyphony Digital ..
- Japan Studio released some games and published/helped others (best output)
- Naughty Dog did not release ANY game on PS4 at all (no new ip or new game)

suckerpunch haven't released a good game since InFamous 2 and even that wasn't outstanding or anything... and the Sly games before that were very hit and miss at best.
Second Son was absolutely and utterly terrible. I have zero faith in anything Suckerpunch do at this point, which is why I am highly skeptical of Ghost of Tsushima.

Second Son was a very early title that was still very entertaining and pretty to look at. (Looks even better with the pro and HDR patch.) Ghosts is an end of cycle game and while I understand skepticism. The comparison is apples to filet mignon.

Second Son is absolutely awful, I tried playing it again when it came to PS+ but fuck are these controls awful... and the collision detection is completely ass.
that game was a rushed graphics showpiece nothing more.
I really liked the first InFamous and never really played the second one but it seemed alright (and ran way better) but the Sly cooper games were pretty meh and at some points absolutely mediocre... so Sucker Punch made 1 single game I consider actually good and that was more than a decade ago with the newest sequel to that series completely destroying everything that was good about the first game so... nah, I am waiting for some longer unscripted gameplay videos by a third party of Ghost of Tsushima until I decide on that game. so far it looks like nothing special... very run-of-the-mill stealth and a very context sensitive looking fighting system (always a bad sign) aren't really telling me this is gonna be great.
I am long over games being able to blind me with pretty graphics, the game looks gorgeous but everything that has to do with how it plays looks heavily context sensitive (aka shallow) and pretty standard fare for a current gen AAA third person action game
