Thanks.
I understood now.
N7P is DUV yet.
N7+ is EUV.
N7+ is actually partly EUV, there's still some DUV afaik. But yeah.
Thanks.

The form fact is part of the cooling solution.for a massive chip, yet cooling doesn't seem as excessive as the ps5 dev kit.
First confirmed case in Brazil as wellThe Corona virus appeared in Greece. We just had our first incident in Thessaloniki.
Hooboy.
Based on information that would have been available at the planning stage, there is no way anybody would have been targeting a 2 GHz clock. It's just far too much of a risk. Again it's possible they targeted 1.8 GHz for example and found they could raise the clock speed without running into problems but I just don't see them doing that. Sony, like MS would have had good knowledge about a good target spec for a late 2020 release and would have planned to use chips that were being planned for release around that time; don't forget, both Sony and MS have been working pretty extensively with AMD for some time and would know an ideal target spec based on what AMD were planning to manufactureOh really? How could anyone possibly know how hot an N7P or 7n+ node would be at 2.0 ghz?
Which doesn't mean @VFXVeteran is wrong, it also could mean that Info was right some time ago.
PS5 reveal timeline is "comparable to the past", says Sony.Like this guy. telling it straight.
Is PS5 Feb announce cancelled ??
I think it's more about how the fuck it is now and not who was right and others quantic calculations.Which doesn't mean @VFXVeteran is wrong, it also could mean that Info was right some time ago.
OK, can you finally confirm again that the 9.2 TF is in the final PS5 console or not? Can you give us any new hint?PS5 reveal timeline is "comparable to the past", says Sony.
As i said before, That was what i heard about the PS5 reveal timeline a while back and my statement about the February reveal was based on this. The February reveal was the plan for sure but so much things got complicated recently my friends.
You're thinking about it all wrong. The BC stuff works when you don't have a future system to sell or a higher end product to use.
Do you really think they will make games for the Xbox one and port up? Honestly? That's what they did for Xbox one x, and it was fine there because it wasn't classed as a new generation.
My friend at *redacted fp studio* has mentioned they are making their game for the SX, and then another part of the studio is essentially making a different version for the older hardware. That's two separate games tailored to two machines, but same sku. Same as Forza Horizon 2. Of course his studio may be having an easier time, it's easier to do this sort of thing without realistic real life looking assets. From what I can gather though this is the norm to leverage the higher spec of the machine.
Can you imagine the uproar if these games were Xbox one games that simply ran in 4k/60 with a few basic changes? It wouldn't make sense.
Just let that 9.2 TF go.OK, can you finally confirm again that the 9.2 TF is in the final PS5 console or not? Can you give us any new hint?
Nobody knows and we will probably never know.Like this guy. telling it straight.
Is PS5 Feb announce cancelled ??
There absolutely is no any plans for PS5 Pro currently. 3 different PS5 D-Kits with the last one on the way.
How true is this: devkit 1 = 9.2 tf, devkit 2 = ~12 tf and devkit 3 = ~13tf?There absolutely is no any plans for PS5 Pro currently. 3 different PS5 D-Kits with the last one on the way.
Isn't PSVR1 already able to do that in some games ?Or 120 per eye.
If you design something with a fast SSD in mind I find very difficult to make it run on HDD, so yeah probably two totally different versions if they don't want to vastly limit games. What folks don't understand is that the XOneX came out 2 years ago, dropping support for it this year would be criminal. And do these same wallys think the One and Series X are going to share retail disks?![]()
The idea of my post was to not call everyone a fake-leaker only because the reality doesn't match with the leak anymore.I think it's more about how the fuck it is now and not who was right and others quantic calculations.
But if it required massive cooling you'd imagine a full tower. But it looks like a compact minitower with all the components likely tightly packed. The form fact is part of the cooling solution.
If you are bigger and open like a PC tower you will have better colling.
PS5 Devkit is a closed console form factor that requires most stronger cooling solution... so you need to put more vents to take the air flow in and out... different from a opened PC tower format like MS choose.
The fact MS choose that format is already an excessive cooling solution due the chip being hot.
Your original comment continue being confuse because MS did exactly that an excessive cooling solution like I said.
OK thanks! Quoted your comment to see if you're right or not.Just let that 9.2 TF go.
How true is this: devkit 1 = 9.2 tf, devkit 2 = ~12 tf and devkit 3 = ~13tf?
Thanks amigo.Knowing that I can't detail anything... I think it is obvious to think that the most significant improvements will be those expected in the VR field of the next decade. Improve sight related. The touch. And the attenuation of possible dizziness (NOT its elimination). In any case, without giving details, the biggest advance I see is immersion.
I hope to be able to make a thread regarding the dizziness that generated the VR and that could continue to generate to a greater or lesser extent depending on the device. The thread will be of several parts, both to comment on my experience and to know the user experience with different devices, in order to improve development. But to sum it up, one could say that there are basically two types of dizziness. Those who can be eliminated and those who cannot (speaking only at home level, outside the home, dizziness can be completely eliminated in certain ways, and also at home but at a cost). But as I say, it is something that I think will be better treated in its time and in its respective thread. I hope I can create it "soon" and be able to share more than promises.
I would assume that while specs might be something to worry about getting traced back in the event not everyone gets the same info at the same time, the "complications" would probably be more of an open secret. Any thing more specific that you can share?PS5 reveal timeline is "comparable to the past", says Sony.
As i said before, That was what i heard about the PS5 reveal timeline a while back and my statement about the February reveal was based on this. The February reveal was the plan for sure but so much things got complicated recently my friends.
Those xbox boys sure are funny.true or not, dont know but I have seen mention on the dark webs that fisher is actually chris 1515 from era and is not an insider lol
again, just info and screenshots Ive seen true/false?
No no, let them cling to it, it will make the meltdowns more glorious.Just let that 9.2 TF go.
For real?OK thanks! Quoted your comment to see if you're right or not.![]()
Good luck and have fun then. The idea of my post was to not call everyone a fake-leaker only because the reality doesn't match with the leak anymore.
I am with the PS5 being as powerful as XSX, I'm just looking for (hopefully) a confirmation of PS5 not being 9.2 TF that's all.No no, let them cling to it, it will make the meltdowns more glorious.
are costs per transistor still falling at the same rate? I heard prior to euv they stopped falling at prior rates.
But maybe one is 7TF and the other 14TF...
edit:
Looks like a compact minitower with a few vents on top, not a full tower.
But if it required massive cooling you'd imagine a full tower. But it looks like a compact minitower with all the components likely tightly packed.
The ps5 dev kit look like a giant heatsink is underneath the plastic.

That was you first and only mistake.....I expected more from you. At least read the feel next pages.
I personally stand by Tommy and Henry Clark...…..I like how these break it down, they sound kosher to me...….Tommy Fisher is the only real contender for me (being an insider), the others not so much, they might have connexions (i've been told, i heard from)but
Tommy Fisher is in (could be wrong tho).
No, that's not true at all........That's like you having Kate Beckinsale on your hand and I have Rosie O Donell and you saying "It's ok, you still have a pretty woman".....No it's not ok, you are just trying to pacify.....If the reality is that PS5 is 9TF, so be it, but we have no concrete proof of that and it was just a number put out there by the competition, it even went as low as 8TF at some point.......It's illogical and does not make sense, so why do we continue to use it or propagate it? Even last gen the divide was only 1.31 vs 1.84, when the Mid-Gen came it was 4.2 vs 6.0, now you are telling me at the beginning of a new generation MS can possibly be 3TF ahead of Sony and your rationale is that MS's consoles will be more expensive and Sony's cheaper.......When the flip shows that Sony actually delivered a cheaper more powerful console with better memory in 2013...…...Screw everyone console warring. Seriously, SCREW YOU IF YOU CONSOLE WAR.
These consoles are monsters and even if the PS5 is 9TF it is still a hell of a lot more powerful than the PS4 or PS4 Pro and will be able to make insane stuff.
Also the XSX at 12TF RDNA fucking 2.0 is insane. I bet it won't be cheap but screw it, that thing is a monster. We should be thankful for getting actual good hardware this time. Can't even imagine what the games will look like on these machines. Praised be AMD![]()

Matt telling people to ignore the 9.2TF number is about as close as you're going to get until Sony fully unveil the specs, whatever they are.I am with the PS5 being as powerful as XSX, I'm just looking for (hopefully) a confirmation of PS5 not being 9.2 TF that's all.
Fixed. For example, all my ex girlfriends said my penis was only 17 mm
If Xbox One and PS4 OG was a 40% difference and mid gen refreshes were also a 40% difference, why cant SeX and PS5 have a 30-40% difference? That was you first and only mistake.....

You guys need to start picking these things apart. and start looking at things from a point of logic and precedence..…...No one is going in next gen looking forward to a 9TF machine (unless it's a Nintendo Machine)……..9TF will be much too underpowered to push next gen visuals with Raytracing at 4K 60fps, 8K, 120fps etc...…..With 9TF Sony would have never mentioned 8k/120fps and Kaz would have never mentioned 240fps......There is no way MS has a rise on Sony on hardware technology releasing in the same year...….Sony is a hardware company and has been in the race for way too long....
well you said they went full tower, but they didn't. Their solution offers better cooling, but it is still what seems like a mini pc, and at least on the pc side mini pcs don't have as good cooling as full towers.Do you want that I repeat the same explanation? Because you are not understanding it.
Your point is confuse since MS itself is using a PC tower solution to cool the chip.
It is over 30cm in heigh and over 15cm in sides.well you said they went full tower, but they didn't. Their solution offers better cooling, but it is still what seems like a mini pc, and at least on the pc side mini pcs don't have as good cooling as full towers.
If sony didn't go with a similarly large chip, it doesn't seem like they'd require as much cooling as is apparent on the dev kit unless there were high clocks. I can see conservative clocks and large chip if it runs hot, or high clocks and small chip. But conservative clocks and small chip with such massive cooling seems ridiculous. Also it'd make it seem like the xbox would need even more aggressive cooling than shown if that was the case.
That's not a full tower. It is over 30cm in heigh and over 15cm in sides.
There is nothing mini in that tower.
PC Mini-ATX cases are smaller than it.
Don't count on it. Running this game on a PC with a 1080 GPU, SSD, and 16G of RAM is about what SP5/Scarlet will give you. Basically 1080p@ 60FPS or 1440p@ 30fps. Some settings my be lower as well.
That was you first and only mistake.....
I personally stand by Tommy and Henry Clark...…..I like how these break it down, they sound kosher to me...….

Yes it is.That's not a full tower.
Because Sony isn't Microsoft. If Xbox One and PS4 OG was a 40% difference and mid gen refreshes were also a 40% difference, why cant SeX and PS5 have a 30-40% difference?
Yamauchi delivered 60fps in gts, and seems like he considers 120fps potentially viable as a target at least.as for 120/240 FPS PR that means nothing. During PS3 hype Ken K was promoting PS3 doing 1080p at 120fps games and there were none that did that. Hardly any games were 1080p and zero were 120fps.
...It is over 30cm in heigh and over 15cm in sides.
There is nothing mini in that tower.
PC Mini-ATX or Micro-ATX cases are smaller than it.
NZXT just launched a mini-ITX case for system builders who are interested in piecing together a small form factor (SFF) PC, and it even comes with a miniaturized 650W power supply with 80+ Gold certification to boot. It also bears a resemblance to Microsoft's Xbox Series X....
The H1 is compact tower measuring 187 (W) x 387.7 (H) 187.6 (D) mm / 7.36 x 15.26 x 0.29 inches, and weighing 6.53 kg (14.4 pounds). According to NZXT, one design element that was purposeful was making the H1 easy to build in.

Build your own Xbox Series X killer inside this lookalike case
NZXT's new H1 mini-ITX case may look like an Xbox Series X, but that's only because Microsoft's console looks like a PC.www.pcgamer.com
You do know that their is a Developer that is posting here currently one of his posts answers this in a roundabout way. Its fairly recent but again most people do not pay attention.OK, can you finally confirm again that the 9.2 TF is in the final PS5 console or not? Can you give us any new hint?
Even it's huge, but I like the design.Yes it is.
By ATX (what you want to call full tower) specification measure at 12 by 9.6 inches... ~30cm by ~25cm.
Any company is of course free to make cases bigger or smaller.
Xbox Series X tower is similar to ATX size... not Mini-ATX or Micro-ATX.
Of course it is neither of them because they use a custom non-ATX layout.
But it is that big like a PC ATX tower.
ITX <> ATX (PC tower).
There are other factors, but the chief one that dispels that Sony is 9TF is that MS has never delivered a more powerful console over Sony launching in the same year......Sony is a hardware company, they deal with these companies day in and day out and have special arrangements with many of these companies and have a long history with many of these companies, in even supplying them with hardware components themselves.......We are talking computers, phones, cameras, you name it.....They have a better grip in the hardware industry than MS...and also with console hardware......No company has brought more up to date features and hardware components in a console than Sony has day and date....If Xbox One and PS4 OG was a 40% difference and mid gen refreshes were also a 40% difference, why cant SeX and PS5 have a 30-40% difference?
as for 120/240 FPS PR that means nothing. During PS3 hype Ken K was promoting PS3 doing 1080p at 120fps games and there were none that did that. Hardly any games were 1080p and zero were 120fps.
ITX <> ATX (PC tower).
Micro-ATX vs Mini-ITX vs ATX: A Size Comparison
Mini-ITX motherboards, on the other hand, are shorter in both height and width than micro-ATX motherboards. They typically only feature a single PCIe lane. Their advantage, however, is in their smaller size.
