So you say Microsoft is so smart and pumps the XSX like a bodybuilder with steroids according to rumors that the PS5 devkit would be stronger?
And while MS is so smart and reacts to RUMORS, the 12TF of the XSX are suddenly a surprise for Sony? A surprise that wasn't a surprise, since even Microsoft had been giving some public Information (+ several leaks that mostly said 12TF and some of them RDNA2) for months about where the journey with the XSX is going?
What you wrote here would mean that Sony is the biggest noob in console history, doesn't know shit what the competitor is doing and has now screwed it up a lot.
This also has absolutely nothing to do with "speculation", instead you underline your confused arguments with an allegedly amateurish approach by one of the largest electronics companies in the world that has been in the console business for almost 30 years. Come on!

Game Gear was tight. My buddy had one with James Pond, Batman Returns, and Sonic. I think I was more into it than him. Strangely, I ended up with a Sega Nomad before I got a Game Gear. It wasn't a great on-the-go battery powered portable, but as a personal mini-tv and Genesis plugged into a wall or car cig outlet it was the best. I would stay up all night playing MK, Sonic 2, and Streets of Rage 3. Even supported 2-player and tv-out. Later when I was working for Toys R Us, we received a random shipment of Game Gears that sold for $30, so I bought one. It was weird because it was the year 2000.:pie_thinking:

I didn't find Sonic game either, I lived far from the capital at that time, probably that's the reason. Streets of Rage is one of my favorites! Me, my older brother and my older sister are waiting for the new Streets of Rage 4 if you didn't notice it, You hear the iconic soundtrack at the beginning here:

So....why would 8tf even be in consideration for Series X. Unless you mean LH. And that's an even more odd stance since it's long been rumored 4tf, and isn't close to 9.2tf.

it even suit for open world and cinematic game... while EA 's AAA titles struggle with frostbite shortcoming, Konami just use it to make football and pachinko game LOL what a waste

As far as I can see, it's bloody close, and the only people spinning this are people on both sides upset that their console isn't the lead.

Streets of Rage 2 and 3 are pure heat. I like 3 more, but I know some purists prefer 2. I've seen SoR 4 and it looks fun. It might not be as good as the old-school, but neither was the new TMNT Arcade game, but my boys and I still had a ton of fun playing it.

I see your bias showing again. Stop projecting like every Sony fans believe in 13.8TF, there's maybe 1 person. Whereas there's probably over 20 xbox fans in this thread that believes the 9.2TF.

I have those soundtracks and listen to them in my car from time to time. My wife goes like "who the fuck listens to such funky sounds/music?". Well, she's not a gamer anyway. How could those guys make such iconic music with a poor tool shows to you that talent knows no boundaries. I hope they are still working in the industry feeding us epic music. Yes, first one was slightly rough but loved the car guy launching missiles and so as backup. 2nd to me was the best, 3rd had the best gameplay yet felt somehow empty. 2nd had the story of the young black boy fighting for his prisoner father (Blaze) along with the old dudes. I liked Blaze more but used to play with the huge guy in the second one (Max).

I didn't like what they did to Axel's body in the 4th installment, he looks like a truck as he used to be a mix between agility and strength. But gonna play the game anyway.

GameGear was a cool device, one of my Friends had one (think it was about more than 20 years ago). Had much fun playing Sonic on the go! But it failed hardly and was also hard to find here in Germany. :messenger_beaming:

Maybe you are able to find some cool games on eBay!

Both extremes have followers. Most likely it's just what the "insiders" on this forum have said. Somewhere between 10 and 11.5TF. So enough to not notice a difference.
 
It's funny to see how ms tries to announce their nextbox. It's with numbers instead of games... Typical the way they did with the one x. All hardware and no games.

I can only hope that sony unveils their console with games instead of numbers. Can't play games on tf alone. By this way of making business alone I will buy a ps5 over a xbsx even if the gpu Gap is 25 pct. Sony showed with PS4 they are more than capable tot make that 25 up with more and better games.

And how many games do we have for PS5 by now? Godfall? I Expect MS talking 90% of E3 about games that's why they are talking about numbers right now.

Tell your wife CrustyBritches listens to music like that all the time, so all the cool kids are doing it. Genesis/Megadrive had a Yamaha YM2612, I don't know much about shit like that, but retro edm composers rave about it. Back then I was hearing this music through crappy CRT TV speakers. Now to hear it on a system with a sub is amazing. Drum and bass is just sick. This guy makes crazy f*cking music stations out of game systems, here's the beginning of his Megadrive/Genesis project...

My man basically says that Xbox has been talking specs all this time. Sony has not announced anything but showed off a logo and some vague system features that they didnt expand on at all.

That's the difference between the two.

They showed Hellblade 2, and no one shows games this early when you haven't even had your actual announcement presentation yet... It's clear that Microsoft waits for E3 to show all the games, and a private event might show some footage of games in developments or demo's, but nothing like an E3 presentation.

I should've clarified I meant next-gen maybe. Except for Halo which is a cross-gen game, do you actually have examples of next-gen games. A game that is only available for PS5 for example?

Microsoft and Sony normally don't show this without a proper show related to this. That's why we had to wait until the PS4 reveal before seeing PS4 games. Hence why we probably have to wait on an Xbox event before seeing their new games.

Just like the XSX hasn't had a real reveal yet... They only showed the box, hellblade 2, and said it has a 12TF GPU. Is that a reveal to you?

How can a plannes PS5 reveal just suddenly pop up in the last day or so and be happening in a day?
