Addiction is the right word, no surprise people ask for a self ban. I've pulled in since January as a member, and much sooner as a viewer, and I can't help myself away from this thread.
 
Until either Jason Schrier or any other reliable insider starts posting cryptic PS5 relates shit, there will be nothing happening.

This happens almost every week. Feb 25th something happening. Feb 25th comes around. FUCK ALL.

Giantbum tweeted Feb 27th. Feb 27th comes around. FUCK ALL.

Rinse and repeat each week.

If there is an event happening even a State Of Play, you will start hearing about it well in advance from people in the know. Until Geoff, Jason, Zhuge and the like starts tweeting something PS5 related, I will be chilling and waiting patiently and occupied by my PS4 games.

Called my local EB Games and they were indeed doing a call sheet for the Series X but not the PS5 but he expected to be doing that within the next week or so. So cheers, added my name for an Xbox.

Yes of course i'll still be here posting. Its fun to speculate or dissect reports or potential leaks etc.
Thing is i won't hold out any hope or get hyped for any of the 'insiders' here of anything happening until the guys in the know post or tweet something is coming up.
As far as i know one of Geoff, Jason or Zhuge have always had inside scoops on upcoming events and it would be very strange for things to slip by them especially a deal as big as a fucking console reveal.

Probably not putting out much information because they, like many others, are scrambling in the wake of this virus.

They also have two heavy hitter exclusives with lofty(exorbitant for one in particular) expectations in the next two months. This also doesn't count RE3, which despite being multiplatinum, was by and large a PS franchise before the GameCube stint.

I don't think it has anything to do with being lesser power. Even if they clock in at 11 oe 13TFs, for all the screaming about that TF number, it is still essentially equal in performance.

For a technology to perform worse years after your competitor released theirs, that'd really be a shame on AMD. Remember that the RTX lineup released in 2018.

Every day and every time Sony tweets or posts online that isn't related to PS5 is trolling at this point. I'll be holding up my middle finger as I'm pre-ordering my PS5.

But knowing Sony they'll probably start with a 24hr count down timer and get ppl hyped even more. And finally reveal that the PS5 will be black in colour.
