So, games... what's everyone looking forward to for next gen? I really want to see a mainline gran turismo, also really excited to see what some of my fav devs are up to including playground and santa monica, next gen is looking to be a healthy upgrade, cant wait to be honest.

Maybe in the skin of the Helghast army this time, for a proper and justified reboot), then Resistance please (yes I'm a sucker for FPS lol), and obviously last but not least, apart from a new GOW, new Horizon, new Spidey,... what I'm more excited about and thrilled to see come through is the rumored new IPs from Japan Studios ( a survival horror game if i remember right) and the Sci-fi game from Santa Monica i think, or was it Naughty Dog? Lol I'm getting old and senile

So, as Nav10 10 stopped at 40, Ps5 is not Github at 36 unless other CU were switched off, its a number > 40 IMO.
So I believe either 44, 52 or 54 CU, chosen on efficiency and pricing which we do not know, but the posters who keep with 36 CU total are just Xbots. I would like 52 and 18 switched off in pro mode, but it might be 600, I also think XsX will be 600.

the Navi 2x part is just the numbering/naming scheme used.
the actual chips will be named Navi 20, Navi 21, Navi 22 and so on the x in 2x is the placeholder for the actual model numbers

I think if people have really bad airflow in their PC case 2080ti clocks can go as low as 1545MHz. But in normal scenario (normal airflow) thanks to GPU boost these cards OC automatically until they reach certain temp.
Here you can see stock results on the left 1890MHz (thats 16.4TF out of the box). On the right manual OC 2146MHz (18.6TF).
12TF RDNA2 should be faster than 2080S, but I'm really not so sure if it's enough to beat 2080ti even assuming additional gains compared to RDNA1. But as we all know on consoles developers optimize games to the extreme so I think in the end 12TF consoles should provide experience comparable to 2080ti. For example it's totally impossible to run RDR2 even on Radeon 7970 with comparable to PS4 settings, and PS4 GPU is only around 7850/7870 performance. I cant wait to see how far developers will push PS5 / XSX, games will look amazing for sure.

I think the graphical jump will be fine, I just hope these new consoles open up the scope of their games.

I really want a new Resistance. Either a Ratchet and Clank style remake of the first game with the multiplayer, or a new entry/reboot. That franchise was so interesting, and had so much potential. I didn't get why Sony decided to put all their eggs in the Killzone basket rather than the Resistance basket.
Other than that, I'd really like a new WipEout game, FromSoft Souls game (Bloodborne 2?), and please Atlus remake Persona 3

Diff to N7+ is also not that big, only 5% of additional power savings vs N7P.
We knew a while ago 7nm and 7nm+ masks/libraries were incompatible. And we knew zen2 was 7nm. They either bring zen2 up to 7nm+, or leave both on 7nm. The only reason we thought rdna2 was 7nm+ is because the desktop gpu slide from a year or two ago.
By the way, IIRC current NAVI cards are 7nP. Radeon 7 was the only GPU on base 7nm process.

That's in fact the total opposite of what he was doing. He never did so in peace nor in his opinion. Instead, every time he posted anything he presented them as facts. Repeatedly.
