So there's my MS Sony game mess
November 2020 :
15 - the bs event which contains exclusive indie developer's 2D next gen games which show ps5 capacity
20 - the bs event 2,0 Which represent first hand's on demo's for those 2d games
25 - ps5 release day event with very big surprise that it will actually lunch with 2 2d games
December
10 - Sony fun day event : a live show of full party in sony head office to celebrate that all world problems solved because of Sony decisions
20 - Jim Ryan secret event , which show top secret game developed by all of 15 Sony studio's , my sources told me that game is a comic's style game which take full advantage of ps5 hardware & controller , by the way that game intial name is Jim Ryan big a!!
My sources at Sony marketing team told me much more informations but I will tell you guys more information in next couple months

Most of this unfortunately comes from the fact that pc gamer's can throw large amounts of cash at building a pc.
Having the means to purchase the best of the best creates a sense of personal entitlement and anything that challenges that must be frowned upon.
This next generation of consoles will be superseded in time but for the foreseeable future they will be state of the art marvel machines.
Top quality gaming has never been better or more affordable for the masses but there are some who hate that idea.

Regarding the games yeah but not exactly, I believe the PS5 could be not possible in that level in current PC but I want to see first which technologies will
bring Ampere, because AMD will improve with RDNA 2 I am still sure Ampere will be above them and maybe both adopt some way to communicate with SSD.

Lot of people wanted a a Pro patch for it, probably most requested game for a Pro patch that I saw anyway. Never got one.
It would sell like hotcakes with a PS5 port, IMO. Eliminate most of the loading times, sharpen the image, offer 60fps and proper frame pacing. Super noice

Bloodborne is easily in my top 5 games on this gen, already played it a bunch, i don't see any interest to rebuy and replay the same game with higher fps and res, specially since PS5 BC is supposed to be able to do that.

Backwards compatibility means being able to play a PS4 game on a PS5. Boost mode means that PS4 game will use PS5's CPU and GPU clocks providing that doesn't break the game, which could lead to better frame-rates etc.
Backwards compatibility doesn't mean a remaster that has had new studio time devoted to it by adding better textures, models and QoL improvements and specifically made for PS5 should be included for free as some kind of patch for a game that was compiled for a different hardware and SDK.
Boost mode may unlock frame-rates and potentially keep resolution high if it previously used adaptive resolution, but it's not going to start upgrading player models and making changes to the game. It's still your PS4 game from before.

This doesn't necessarily mean that Demon's Souls isn't coming as well. They called whatever they're working on a "reimagining", which insinuates whatever they're working on is built from the ground up and changed a bit in ways. As you said, Bloodborne isn't old, so a remaster probably didn't take them as near as much time to do.

that's an assumption, it's not crazy to think that the major AAA studios make scalable solutions that let them take advantage of the ps5 ssd a lot even in games that can also run fine on XSX

Yes they have BC but it will still essentially be a PS4 game. Even with a patch it will have to use that same engine pipeline etc it would just be bloodborne at 4k 60fps etc it's why remakes and remastered games will be here to stay for PC and both consoles. Retooling a game for PS5 to take advantage of it and improve more than just res and fps is going to offer way more than just a patch ever would. It's going to be a new engine. Yes MS is doing some things via emulation to improve a little further but it's still going to be the same game at its heart eith that engines limitations.

This should been an update then. If they're gonna do a remaster at least make it like SOTC where there is an actual graphic upgrade and not just res, fps patch.
We already know that TLOU2 will run perfectly in PS5, so if that's the case, why Bloodborne that was release on 2015 can't also run perfectly on PS5?
Unless it's a true remaster/remake ala Shadow of the Colossus i'm not seeing the point of this supposed Bloodborne remaster.

Defeats the purpose? Maybe I'm just not looking into things as much as some, but all I was expecting from the event was a display of some PS5 games. I don't know why this and the idea that next-gen remasters aren't somehow free upgrades is soiling so many pants.
Boost mode does not change the game binary or its assets. The very best it can do is stabilise frame-rates and get the best out of any dynamic resolution scaling that was being used.

Again if it's gonna be just a res, fps update it be meh tbh, thing should just be a free update.
But if they would add some new stuffs, and with new graphics (ala SOTC), now that would be worth it (there were some levels found in datamining that didn't make it in the final product for whatever reason , not expecting things but just saying)

IKR. If this "big" Bluepoint game is actually Bloodborne Remastered I'm going to be very disappointed. IMO, I'd use the team's talent for games that actually require proper remaking/remastering. Bloodborne does not require such treatment. Seeing how one amateur person can implement 60FPS in it makes me think it'd be very easy to make it 4K60 on PS5 via a patch and call it a day. Demon's Souls on the other hand...
