I am in two minds about Godfall, that last trailer did more damage than good to me, I think its that's shitty gangster music/rap or what ever they call it, they keep using in the videos.

I know i am old but come one, Beautiful looking games about knights and swords needs more orchestral tracks or classical music in their surroundings.

Every time i hear vocals of i wanna flip flop, canon top wanna make you my pop kinda throws me off the games.

Its probably why i am not a fan of GTA5.

I felt the same way. Music sets the vibe and tone for a game, and maybe it was because that was the complete opposite of what I would have expected? Haha. I expected some epic orchestral music to go along with the game. I was originally getting Dark Souls or God of War vibes from the game, but the change in music all of a sudden gave it an almost Crackdown type vibe instead. Just made it seem a lot more goofy than serious.

EDIT: Watched the PC footage/developer walkthrough....now that's more what I expected. The music actually fit the vibe of the game.

I agree on your points. So the music they used is a combination of Trap and Big Room/EDM music. Never really been a huge fan of the commercialized sound.

I remember this. The PlayStation 2 also demo'ed it in real time on the vector units. Vectors are very good for processing high speed math needed for RT.

Ps2 was capable of realtime raytracing.

So apparently the ps2 was capable of realtime raytracing and even more imprssive it could do that without using its cpu.

It was definitely cross gen. Everything that was leaked was correct and the game was played by playtesters who have spoiled the entire game.

I think they are going back and upgrade because of re3s somewhat lukewarm reception on current gen consoles.

It's indeed a system seller.

But System seller or not, GT is . GT is not just some generic car game and that's one of the think i love a lot about it. You can feel the passion that PoDi about Cars and its Culture by just launching the game. GT is one of those rare gem VG franchises imo.

OH yes of course those things are coming. Cory's new game is definitely on horizon. The day before there were a few tweets from diff ppl saying tht the presentation date was a big day for him but then we saw nothing.
