Haven't they just revealed to be working on a VR PvPvE besides Wasteland 3, both multiplats? Unless they have a third team, I don't think they have a next gen exclusive cooking up for XSX right now.

Don't forget PS5 will probably keep the DVR function, so it will be constantly writing large sized videos and images to the SSD.

Wow. Thanks for the reality check haha. As one of those guys who was 15 back when the Xbox 360 was launched that hit me a fair bit haha. Mad how that was 15 years ago, it really doesn't feel it at times (and at others it really does!).

Actually, performance wise, the two gpus are exactly the same.

I said it before that ( obvious business as of my experience not insider info ) AMD already shared the best of what they have with both Sony and Microsoft. Sony knows about XSX power years before it was announced and microsoft thought that Sony chose the same. I believe Sony customized the shit out of their hardware to meet what targetted by AMD hardware while keeping the cost low.

The PS5 will not be better than XSX in 3rd party games but it also not gonna be inferior at all. Both game versions will run at same setting and FPS with minor drops here and there depening on harware differences and API ( which is supprior on PS5)

Yep. 400 MHz on PS5 GPU does make some differences. Faster fill-rate, rasterization etc. Anyway, we will see that in games.

4k TVs have just started to enter the mainstream, it will take a long time for that to happen to 120Hz TVs. Right now it's an option for a very small group of enthusiasts.

I've also did the same "mistake". Also thought all trailers was captured on XSX devkits, but it wasn't. He just made a reaction video without doing any research regarding on which platform it was run ( although, he made a post later ). It's not a mistake when you watch some show live. Of course you won't asked yourself is it on PC or something else. That kind infos appear later.

I've never seen any of your videos so maybe the humour went over my head or perhaps I was expecting too much, but I did assume that there would be a reasoned argument as to why Digital Foundry was 'lying'.

Instead the critical insights never got any deeper than "look at this shit".

I'm sure there's an audience for this stuff but your video content isn't in the same league as the work done by Digital Foundry, or the many other sites, that do actual technical analysis. It certainly wouldn't convince anyone that didn't go in with an obvious bias.

In your video you make the claim that "All their (MS) games are going to be fractured or extremely small". You do realise that making that claim with zero backup is something far closer to 'lying' than anything DF has done?

Putting your thoughts on video doesn't make you any more qualified than the other Sony stalwarts on this site. Let's face it, if 'The Last Word' made videos, then this is exactly what they'd look like, but with less swearing and, of course, they'd be much, much, much longer. :)

Yeah I wonder if the PS5 will be able to record gameplay video in 4K, cause PS4 is only 720p and the Pro can only do 1080p. Even it was only recording 1-2 minutes, it'd be great to be able to capture full 4K footage from the system capture.

If Halo was truly an early, 4 month old build, it could be because generally, games are first developed and coded on PC, and moved to Dev kit further down in development. I'm not sure what to think about that. So many scenarios to try to understand why the version shown was running on a PC and not an XSX. They did say it was a four month old build. Maybe we'll have a demo of it running on XSX to come if it is to be a launch title.

If the development of other titles to come are two years out, perhaps they're not in a state ready to go enough to show. I'd not worry about that too much either. We don't usually get in engine stuff until further along in development and in game much later than that.

I don't really know what to say about the SSD I/O solutions. It is pretty late in the launch stage to be introducing new cooling and I/O solutions. I mean, I don't know, that could would also wreak havoc with any games in development. Also, if the machines are already in production, changing cooling solutions sounds a bit difficult. The parts would have already been ordered, and the system design with cooling in mind was already in place.

For me, the bottom line would be that, eventually, the games that show the power of the hardware will come. This issue regarding studio acquisition and game title development time didn't start with planning the Series X. It began towards the end of the 360 era and was left to be the way it was for the last 7+ years.

Days Gone to me is one of the best open world games of all time. Exploring every part of the map felt so special. And the thrills of the hordes is wonderful. Story was great, acting to me is the best acting I've seen in any kind of entertainment that feels 100% like real life most of the time with minimal exaggeration, facial expressions was wonderful for an open world imagine next with 6 priority levels.

That can be easily solved by only saving to the SSD when the user wants and keeping the DVR in RAM (doesn't even need to use main RAM, 4GB/8GB LPDDR4 on the secondary processor can handle it).

Doesn't the PS4 only saves to the HDD when the user wants it?

Yeah, he doesn't have a stake in that race like said, but he said in continuation - "obviously, we do most of our development on Personal Computers, but of the two, i would definitely go with Xbox.

IMO, because he mentioned development, he referred to DX12 which obviously he works on. And of course, 12 is > 10.2. :D

Lol see thats the problem....you haven't been following me long enough to even know what I've been showing gamers for years.
Phil spencer himself talked about fractured games and halo has already been confirmed to follow the destiny like fractured experience.

Matt booty already confirmed that the studios they bought are for smaller AA experiences and the initiative has already stated they will also be making smaller games.

Digital foundry lied by claiming the reason why the graphics look flat is due to shadows n shit....i just pointed out the reasons why that wasn't the case.

Givin DF's track record of zooming in at 400% or being far more critical on other games...xbox games included this "analysis" video did nothing but try to make light of the dire situation at MS.

With xbox touting "most powerful" and the wait it took to see something gamers expected more of an explanation from them than just....shadows.

My videos are far beyond the "league" of DF and whoever else you wanna clam...i represent REAL gamers...i have more gaming experience than any of those channels you mentioned and I dobt need a machine to tell me how many pixels a game has to know its garbo. So relax on trying to staple me under anyone as I dont roll like that...if any of them would like to question it then we can hop on the stix and handle it like gamers....not some guy with PC software that reads FPS. My channel is raw and its real....gamers are not professionals at all, any channel acting like it is perpetrating and likly just wants superchat money and ad revenue.

Meanwhile I deliver everything from documentaries to music videos to podcasts to hot topics to analysis vids to reviews to early copy previews to skits.....i do it all from my playstation and produce better videos than those who use PC......without monetization as I do it for the passion of gaming not for the money in your wallet.....im league's above them...tell um I said it.

Lastly my channel is made for adults so if you dont like "swearing" I understand. My channel purposely isn't made for everyone as not everyone are gamers who accept what it is to be a gamer and are proud of it.

It's only going to get worse and worse up to launch.

Microsoft could have completely hit the showcase out of the park and certain fanboys would still be posting every single little negative thing they can find until the systems launch.

I feel like people have PTSD from github still... and even if they don't realize it they are dancing around every negative they can to try and prop their preferred system up as much as possible until they can get their hands on the actual games and breathe their 10.2tf sigh of relief.
