It's comparability matter, that's why still many tv's and brand suffering with HDMI 2.1. So the X1 processor is supporting full features, but not the higher ones. Expect more TV's to support HDMI 2.1 by CES 2021. If you got the money then go for Z8H 8K.

Look the trailer you saw of Horizon was realtime but was not gameplay that means:
-Those basically is best way the game will looks in those scenarios/moments
-You gameplay can looks almost equals or worst, how much I don't know, will be far of that I don't think so but is my opinion
-A crab rendering in that console looks better than the main enemy of Halo
I trust in the quality of Sony its last games and its first party are monster in graphics even the medium or small like Bend Studio
and because Xbox decides to have a very different plan of business its fight for graphics will be in the third party the first 2 years,
see a delta inferior of 20% in GPU with a worst SSD will be interesting to check but probably the fight with ends with my resolution is
10% of 15% better and that's all.
Also I need to see more than promises from Xbox because:
-Yes I love Hellblade but that was the first game of that studio which can be a serious rival for Goty, the second lets see
-Coalition are good just that, in graphics are excellent
-343 looks want to destroy halo so yeah
- Turn 10 is worst in simulation but better in eye candy than GT
-Playground made the best games of this Xbox gen so have fear/confidence in those guys making a new Fable
-Initiative I don't care until we don't see gameplay
-Double Fine not my type of games
-Rare they are good not more
-Obsidian could become the joy of crown or the biggest deception with its next title AAA
The other studios I just don't care, but that is the thing still promise nothing else and seeing Xbox release its biggest IP in that

Honestly, just fucking with you. Metroid is my favorite Nintendo franchise and I've never enjoyed a Castlevania game nearly as much as any Metroid.
I MIGHT take Castlevania 4 over OG Metroid but that's it. But that's not even a Pathfinder genre game.

You guys are looking for UE5 demo type graphics and tech in HZ2 and that's just not going to be the case. Aside from higher res textures, sprites or FX used - I'm not seeing a giant leap in visual quality like you guys are hoping. The PS5 just doesn't have a powerful GPU to deliver that kind of leap at true 4k/60FPS.

Yes, X900H is the only Sony TV that fully supports HDMI 2.1 with all its features besides 8K@60Hz (4K@120Hz, VRR, ALLM, eARC). Z8H might be lacking VRR, but could be updated if it supports HDMI 2.1 full bandwidth, which I'm more than sure it should as only LG CX doesn't. According the official website, VRR and ALLM are missing for Z8H: 4K120/8K60/eARC

It's not dude. By your own logic, XSX guys should expect HB2 to look like it's cutscenes and that destroys HZ2's cutscenes. You can't have it both ways.

Cinematics? No. If you are comparing EVERY game's cinematics to Horizon 2's cinematics, there are plenty of cinematics that rival the "tech" in HZD2.
Look, if you love the beauty of the game because of it's art direction, I will not talk you down from that. It's a gorgeous piece of work. But if we are getting into objective facts about the graphics engine itself.. I just don't see it being a leap over what we have now.

Everyone already knows that the top 1% of PC gamers can spend the kind of money to outdo any console. Not sure why you keep trying to hammer this point home. Epic made the demo for Ninja Theory? If Epic were the ones that did it, then that trailer means even less now.
Xbox couldn't even have games running on Series X last week and you want us to believe that Hellblade demo was running on real time on a Series X last years? That was also just at 24fps and on a weird resolution.

The Producer works at Epic. He worked with NT on the whole demo. I've worked with him for years. He told me it was real-time when I called him the day it was released. I don't have any reason to believe he would lie to me.
