I hope whatever recruiter who wrote "AAAA" into a The Initiative job ad 2 years ago finds out the reaction the internet has every time IGN repeats it whenever The Initiative are mentioned lol

are with continuing with the last train
Are we recommissioning or a new train altogether?

I say stick with the old train, you put a lot of work into that beauty, until we get something concrete, lets not get our hopes up to high.

Plus Amanda is directly above me.

Because of Sinthor Sinthor i had to watch the second part of Twilight last night, granted most of it was by the fast forward button.

If that shit can make money, Anything can.

I have a sneaky feeling Mod of War Mod of War was/is a twilight fan. DIRTY THING

Why stop at 4 AAAA? AAAAAA

To me it sounds like making a really expensive blockbuster movie like Titanic or Avatar and releasing it on Netflix. Is that even profitable?
- Yes Netflix has been investing big bucks in films as of late, they have some blockbusters in production right now rivaling Hollywood https://www.wsj.com/articles/netflix-splurges-on-big-budget-movies-11564417323
- We honestly don't know Gamepass' full business model or how much it really matches Netflix anyways.. so these comparisons are kind of silly anyways

The actual wording from the job ad that started the AAAA thing:

"experience shipping high quality titles at AAAA standards"

AKA, this recruiter is asking for people with experience shipping the highest quality games... that's it... considering they hired from Sony, among others.. it's calling their games AAAA.

let's look carefully at this slide and interestingly note the specific 4 texture unit or ray ops, this means that the gpu to use raytracing sacrifices 2 cores or even 1 in order not to sacrifice the calculation of the textures for management, so here is 2 x series accounts without active raytracing and 4 texture units for a total of 208 tmu and so far everything nice, but as soon as you turn on the ray tracing it has only 104 with 2 inhabited cores and 156 tmu with 1 rt core enabled, nn is nice for the quality of the textures , i believe that ps5 with the 144 tmu does not adopt the same settings cerny cannot afford to sacrifice half of the tmu for raytracing, the options are 2, or ps5 with rt cores separated to the CUs or inside the cu to implemented 6 tmu, 2 di these for raytracing
TMU's rarely are at 100% utilisation at all times afaik.
Also AMD have excellent texture processing in general, which is probably why the architecture deems it acceptable to make that tradeoff.

PLOT TWIST: Heisenberg was teasing RedGamingTech's podcast with special guests NX Gamer and Matt Hargett which released just now.🔥

EDIT: link updated

Guys get ready to laugh I found something new and funny from misterx:
"Every game launched on Series X and PC is being held back by the slow HDD's and lack of Velocity Architecture at this point. Sony is in the same boat, only their PS5 exclusives will take full advantage of the PS5's capabilities... and Sony's 1st party is almost exclusively 30fps gaming at a maximum of 4k and their games still barely look next gen. 3rd party Series X exclusives, even developed by a single person, look better than Sony 1st party games built by several hundred people.
:D

If anyone knows anything of substance, enough with this stupid crypic post/tweet bullshit. At this point its little more than attention whoring.
If you have the stones, say it in full and put your neck on the line. Otherwise, don't post at all.

All this stupid micro-analysis of tweets and posts is getting really old now.

Holy smokes, Batman! How many calories in that Kool-Aid?

Imagine buying a new device and the only thing you can point to as a reason you're excited about buying it is because of some vague idea that you are getting 'value" from a monthly subscription model...

Microsoft really needs to tighten up its messaging here. When even Geoff Keighley can't point to any excitement he has and can only parrot some "value" PR, it's not looking good.
