I can't not read the last paragraph with excitement in the tone. Make an audio clip of you saying that for me please. Your response was also pretty combative which just solidified my initial response to it. That's the problem with text only I guess.

That's ok. We already saw what happened to this thread because of that and the mods are tired of it as well. Like I suggested the other guy a thread should be made to continue that discussion. Everytime it's discussed in this thread it ends up derailing it.

It's really meant to be a suggestion because I would hate for the thread to go on with petty insults and attacks due to topic.

Lets say it was from Gearbox, how does that in any capacity mean they aren't working with the console? Also, a simple google search will show you that Gearbox was not the only developer who worked on Borderlands 3. As well as other games in the Borderlands franchise that were worked on by developers other than Gearbox.

Edit: Also this XVA being "broken" is not found by any real source.

What I do find funny is that a few days ago Nvidia revealed they are working with Microsoft on the Direct Storage API and even are using Borderlands 3 as a benchmark game for outlets like DF. Its almost like Borderlands 3 has been in development with these new cards and API's in mind?

I can't think of a more detached and analytical way of expressing this same concept, frankly. It's not like I wrote "Damn, with Xbox out of the way Sony is gonna SMASH IT in the US!" (which BTW could still just be emphasis on the magnitude of the event without even rooting for Sony specifically, but still at least I could see one type of emotion being mistaken for another).

I know this might sound more offensive than I intend it to be, but if you cannot distinguish between a statement of reality and a value judgement anymore, maybe you should dedicate less time to people who have such a huge and open bias (read "fanboys") that you have to assume that anything that comes out of their mouth only serves to peddle for their "side". Because it's starting to leak out, and you are applying that same filter to everybody even when it's unreasonable to do so.

Yes, real time RT has been a huge focus of them for years so it's logical to expect results to come from that R&D
