I expected a 5 GB / s at least present in SX, RTX IO commented an IO of 14 GB / s compressed.
if SX currently takes 12 sec to get the game to start. We could be talking about a much lower I / O which will weigh down the design of all 3rd games.
If we add to that XSS 52 seconds. I'm already pretty sure the I / O was going to be useless.
It is a very sad day for a gamer.

Hmm, won't count GMC/Ford/Honda. Our market is like an afterthought to them, although Honda is extremely reliable but it doesn't have cars dependent on the GCC market like Land Cruiser LC 200, LC70, Nissan Patrol Y62, Y61.
These 4 cars would've been discontinued years ago. Chevrolet dealer here sold 69 cars total in 2019, Nissan Patrol alone sold 16,000+ in the same year (most sold car, mostly military and police and other agencies). Most of the US cars here are now imported second hand from the US market for cheaper prices.

I could never pay that much for a Toyota SUV lol. But I prefer sports cars so thats just me.It's the same here, priced at ~35,000 OMR ($101,000 USD) for VXE model, same price goes to Nissan Patrol LE, both with their variations dominate the roads. But because offroad is still relevant here, although streets stretch nearly everywhere.
I would day it is a sad day someone claims to watch the video and get the results wrong. Watch the video and get back to us not a FUD site.

PS5 design is definitively good... so beautiful.
The only part that breaks the design is the BD bay... so the DE version looks better.

Yeah XSX sure not but XSS absolutely will. Sony absolutely lost the price war and Microsoft aggressive even taking a loss on both just to be sure they win the price. Sony need to push games big time as a reason why to everyone should buy the (surely?)more expensive consoles. If only Sony would wake up and announce the event already.

I do not understand your comment, the video is official xbox from a few days ago. Why wouldn't XVA work? Even if it were without compression, it will be 6 seconds and if XboxSeriesS takes 53 seconds, it is not even correctly using the 2 lanes of PCIEGEN4 that it theoretically has.
Adapting the games to a very bad IO is impossible, it will require design changes and that is uneconomical so they will design for the minimum possible.
If the data we have is correct, it will limit the games for the next few years. It doesn't matter which olastic box is your favorite or your brand, no one can be happy with it.

The way things are going with XBox Game Pass on PC I don't think I will ever buy another XBOX console again, I have a pro in the living room and a kick ass gaming rig in my office. being 43 I have to balance life and I only have so much time to game. I guess MS are happy as they still get my money but I am very much a fan of Sony's exclusives so that the console I get no matter the specs and then I spend good money on decent PC upgrades every 2 - 3 years. Maybe that's MS plan and that's fine but they have given me no reason to buy their actual console

Said that is it really the smaller Xbox ever made? Because it doesn't look like it... seems like the 360 Slim or Xbox One S are smallers.

Series S is a good design, impressive small box. But that black circle vent is ugly.
But the S and PS5 DE show how much smaller/sleeker consoles can be without disc drives.
