So, no mention of Dolby Atmos etc - do you think that means that no Dolby support through Netflix etc when routing through a A/V receiver?

Glad that stupid GPU downgrade rumor didn't come true. In addition the spec upgrades was just a fantasy as well.

Nice to see it has high speed ports though.

Personally, I litetally already own every game included there (except for The Last Guardian) so it's not really that exciting for me, but yeah, the fact that this is included without an extra fee is very good.

I have to imagine they will support it for video content but they are going with tempest for games.

Then again the OG ps3 lacked "true" Dolby digital True HD for LPCM but was added in later models (if my memory serves me right) so it's possible they won't.

He does not understand PC gamers at all. Bringing those games to the pc just cements them in their belief the rest of the games will come eventually. He is doing the opposite of what he wants lol.

Just comparing the chassis to the PS4 and the PS4 Pro.

Don't you see how many vents the console has? If there's extremely good ventilation then maybe we don't have to worry about the system being loud.

Then again we don't have anyone showing a video of it running so we really don't know what the noise level will be.

You are absolutely right, and thats Very disappointing, no doubt.

But lets be honest... Since we now know that some of these are actually cross-gen and not true nextgen games, at least the positive side of It is that we can expect a much better sample of what nextgen can bring on a technical level now after we pass this cross-gen shit phase.

These games do look good for Cross gen games. The fact of People being underwhelmed is now justified. Its somehow a relief to know that this is not the nextgen that these consoles can bring.

The last guardian is a control nightmare, but still beautiful. I enjoyed that adventure alot.

Demons and Destruction Allstars are both PS5 exclusive so those are true next gen games. Demons already looks CGI.

Sony is very well behind expanding their cloud gaming infrastructure. MS is moving to XSX servers next year, so streaming XSX on XB1 hardware will probably become viable for the Xbox ecosystem. We still don't know Sony's plans regarding PSNow, we also still don't know if they make any progress with MS deal with Azure.

Just got off a work Microsoft Teams meeting here at home and some chick was trying to sell her PS4 in the meeting because she accidentally ordered 2 PS5's

..and EB Games NZ is fucked. Looks like it's already sold out here.

maybe the fans use tempest engine for whistling louder and the many vents are for enhanced surround acoustics

until hands-on and stripdown, everything is possible
