Netflix runs at glorious 4K on my ps4 pro but becomes slow and pixilated on TV. I assume many TVs are slow and not optimal. Specially that most people buy low end TVsWhy would a guy with a smart tv use PS5 to watch these?

Yes I understand how ML works; apparently you don't.
Even DLSS doesn't train on specific games anymore; and when it did, it obviously could not train on every possible combination of frames in order to improve a game.

NVIDIA DLSS 2.0: A Big Leap In AI Rendering
Through the power of AI and GeForce RTX Tensor Cores, NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 enables a new level of performance and visuals for your games - available now in MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries and coming this week to Control.www.nvidia.com
So I digress; you have no fucking clue how advanced MS's auto-HDR is compared to LGs... but I honestly think you'd have to be insane to think MS's doesn't have more power behind it in every way possible.. hardware power, engineering expertise, being trained on more content, etc. MS's is far more likely to get updated too.. and might even have game specific updates where they train on a specific game by finding like content.. a game with a similar style that DOES have HDR, etc.
I have a Smart TV (Samsung KS8000) and uninstall all the apps and disconnect it, all the 'smart' features and apps are just terrible and then they have the audacity to push ads to meWhy would a guy with a smart tv use PS5 to watch these?
It's supposed to be a prequel to the games when Drake was younger. I think in those circumstances Holland will be great.I agree. Can't take it seriously with a man child in the role. Stupid.

I use the Nvidia Shield for all smart features, a lot faster and apps and system software constantly updated to have the latest versions of apps.
I wish 55" OLED dumb TVs (monitors) were more of a thing. As long as they fully supported HDMI-CEC, eArc, HDR, VRR and all that shit, if be happy. Just give me a good quality picture without all the crap.
I'm more concerned with Mark Wahlberg as Sully. Is it? Why is he dressed up like Uncharted 1?

Personally, who do you attract with a console whose main function is BC?
- To the owners of PS4 / PS4 pro I think not, they already have it in their libraries.
- To Xbox owners who already have the One or the One X that does the same function?
- To PC owners?
I think XB is strangling itself right now, losing customers to PC, giving customers to PS5.
Since the other two offers cover the same as you practically among their new generation equipment, your own old ones. MS wants to sell GamePass and Xbox is secondary it seems to me.
With GP they could go gold but currently Xbox seems to me a product with little use value compared to its two competitors and quite equal in use value, with respect to its previous generation.
In 2 years when the devs present games we will be able to evaluate how that use value has grown, but currently it is quite low.
The XSX will be the best place to play all the next gen exclusives from day 1, not just 2 years from now. As for the first party exclusives, that's no longer an issue for Xbox. Keep up with the news. I suspect that's why all of a sudden, only the first 2 years of the generation matter to many people on this forum.

Microsoft R&D has done loads for the ML field, that's just a fact, you can easily look that up.DLSS works on about 12 games, dont give me that DLSS applies to everything easy marketing PR. I am not stupid. DLSS is also selective and as such is more ML than a filter, a filter is non selective,
So you think LG auto HDR using a DSP is crap and MS is better based on what exacly - ah the best engineers on the planet and no data to back your superiority claim other than its MS and Phil.
And how do you know MS's auto-HDR applies equally to all pixels on a screen exactly?DLSS works on about 12 games, dont give me that DLSS applies to everything easy marketing PR. I am not stupid. DLSS is also selective and as such is more ML than a filter, a filter is non selective,

I said they look same enough to me, I have looked at both. Your arguement is based on whatever.
Also if you apply something equally to all pixels on a screen, that is an algorithm or FILTER as its not selective. Facts.
DF said MS was more refined with latency benefit....but did not elaborate further.
That I noticed bad clipping in one spot in particular, and pointed it out? I don't have an agenda.
My bad I meant multiplats. I have edited my post now. Thanks for spotting. All next gen exclusives?![]()
Man utd better not face Bayern within these few years![]()
Choke on the gravel in your bowl mudskipper.Fud spreader, You hate Xbox, Sony Pony, Amanda cerny lover.
Well... in my setup for example...I have no way to use headphones. So if I need to keep the TV very quiet for any reason, being able to watch Netflix or whatever and use my headset with the PS4 Pro comes in handy. I haven't done it A LOT...and the PS4 is a bit slow...but it works just fine.
So while I don't think it's a huge deal, I'm glad I'll be able to do that with the PS5 if I WANT to. Options are always good.

But I love how you gloss over the fact you are blatantly wrong about how ML works.. lol..

Yeah. I love what I'm seeing, and I should like it because I really enjoy Diablo and Souls-like combat....but, I'm definitely waiting for reviews on this one before I spend $70 on another game.Game does look promising, but it's still day light robbery for charging consumers $69 for this game![]()
So you are guessing based on watching videos. If you watch the videos, you can see its a filter as unwanted stuff also gets hDR effect, even white text.
To me HDR ona a screen is a selective effect chosen such as a sun, or fire or NEON, when its every bright and shiny object its over saturation and not pleasing and thats a filter.
MY TV does a filter also, it may have differing parameters, but HDR every bright item is annoying I found and it looked same to me.
Go watch the DF video

But they'll not have MTX as per the dev comments isn't that correct? I mean I'm ok with that if it is the case. But something like Destruction Allstars with $69.99 price tag AND MTX? That's daylight robbery.

Don't mind me. I've been trying to work out a good deal on a new car lease. You know.. the fun negotiation process end.. not the Gran Turismo/Forza Motorsport end of things.
Hey xbox, y'all don't need to respond every time playstation puts out a tweet. It reeks of desperation.
Likely to be way faster on PS5 than any smart TV.. PS5 will likely have a better wireless receiver as well. Why would a guy with a smart tv use PS5 to watch these?

PS5 is going to do monster numbers based on name alone. Throw in the games coming at launch and in 2021 and it's going to be a bloodbath. Xbox had a great opportunity to have a good start to the gen if they had been able to put some good new next gen experiences on the console (i.e. a Halo, a Forza). Instead they've fumbled the ball and are having to push the '4000 launch games' line because they don't have a single good exclusive for launch. You know it's troubling times when Xbox fanboys like McCafferey are speaking out.The XSX will be the best place to play all the next gen multiplatform games from day 1, not just 2 years from now. Could you tell me what MAJOR difference we've seen so far with third-parties that makes the Series X the DEFINITIVE console for multiplat games? Because so far, I haven't seen any yet and don't think we're gonna see any major differences throughout this generation because of 1.87 more TFLOPs. There's more to the console architecture than just a theoretical TFLOPs number, it's a useless metric when it comes to comparing performance with another system. The XSX will be the best place to play all the next gen multiplatform games from day 1, not just 2 years from now. Why would a guy with a smart tv use PS5 to watch these?
It's a mixed bag out there; but there are also home theater setups where it's a pain to get 5.1 using TV apps. ARC and all that doesn't always work well for everyone.Strange though, I find the apps on my tv's quite satisfying. But seems like some tv's aren't working so well.
Why it is more consumer friendly to have it name on the buttons and most consumers won't config remote control buttons... that is why 3rd-party products exists for niche parcel of the consumers.
Imagine having labels 1, 2, 3 and 4 in the buttons and you have to remember what you configured to each one lol
Imagine your wife and kids trying to guess what you did.
Imagine somebody coming to your home trying to use your remote control.
Mess.
BTW all streaming options are in Media Center in PS5... no need app download.
