I'd like to thank EviLore EviLore and this community that you exist. I feel at home again ❤️

Edit: I can't put into words how insufferable that place is. It's a total twilight zone. I'll keep my account open there though. I'm waiting for the right moment to take action. Not just some account suicide for the laughs but something that actually might put them in some real trouble.

I thought that very same peak GAF you speak about was reached last year from May until September, during the lead up to the new consoles. I personally feel when you completely neuter console war antics, you kind of lose the spice of video game forum life. Granted, you don't want that crap being spammed 24/7, but cheap shots at Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo are what made GAF great.

I imagine Evilore has his reasons for the note at the top of the forum, and you can't recreate the past, but I always enjoyed the trash talk.

Right? It's almost as if all it takes is a few decent rules and not hiring disturbed people convinced their job on a video game forum is to fight for whatever their idea of social justice is and BAM it works!
 
I got a question for you gaffers. In era, there was this hive mind thing that everyone had to hate post processing, like motion blur, lens flare, filme grain and whatnot or else you were dogpiled to hell. Are you all like that here too? Because I really like the post.processing devs use. No motion blur in games look jarring, even in HFR to me.

I was in the war of 2018…… We fought the Nazis…….Well it wasn't a real war and they weren't actual Nazis, but I was on my PC and by fight I meant hit a couple keys to ban people I didn't like.
