I think some of you are way too involved in believing most of Resetera belong to some shitty woke "community".

You'll see "communities" leave, and it won't kill the forum. Most of the people there don't want to be a part of some weird community, aren't THAT woke, etc.

People in general just want to talk about games.. yes.. most on resetera lean "American progressive" but that doesn't mean freaking out over every little thing and wanting to ban discussion of it. Most won't say a word, the other large group might gripe about how a female character is showing some cleavage, etc.. and then they'll have 1,000 posts in a thread about a "problematic" game.

Source: all the other "exodus" happenings at Resetera and the site was still worth 4.5 million.

A lot of the biggest psychos on Resetera are actually just trolls too.

Cerium proved to be a real Gafer. None of us could have had this much fun with the Resetera people. He used them from the very beginning and threw them aside. I even think he might be Evilore himself. That will be a great twist.

It's getting a bit transphobic. I always supported trans sexuals like Caitlyn Jenner, who went trough surgery, therapy, hormone and still doesn't give a fuck about pronouns and doesn't want to commit suicide if someome doesn't use she and yet believes she's a transwoman. What I believe the majority is saying is that transgender people is where a man can wear a wig, call himself them/her, has no psychiatrist evaluation and we all have to accept their pronouns and says that transwomen are women and change our vocabulary for them or they'll cancel people. The vast majority are not transphobic to the transsexual people, as was JK Rowling.

Trans Right Activists ARE making people transphobic. The truth is, apart from the mean joke, most transwomen were living their lives trying to blend in and no one was giving them shit. Out of nowhere it became the biggest thing ever and everybody now needs to understand that women can have dicks. Where does it come from? Gay rights associations finally meeting their goals and realizing they were going to die. Guess what? Not anymore. "We've got a new class of oppressed people to use for our own good, FOLX!"

I’ve seen that guy operate, that line at the end is bait, he’s probably reported more people than he’s actually been banned. Yup! We have people here in where i live, and a couple of people I went to highschool with transitioned and live in Colorado now. I talk to them weekly since I live east coast. They think the world has gone crazy with the Pro-nouns and all this.

Probably because the forum was originally set up and billed as a nonprofit utopia for marginalized groups legally owned by a committee of socialists, but actually owned by "the community" of acronyms. This was quickly called into question by early users after it came out it was setup and bankrolled by a data scientist or something that worked for a big corpoartion, which the Era thread seems to have confirmed was the Cerulium guy. The admins obviously moderated those early discussions as conspiracy theory and no doubt banned users who pushed it.

Yes, I think that. The problem is the moderation sucks, and the place is ruled by the loudest wokest posters.

Thing is.. most shit involving video games, movies, etc.. just isn't political. Most games don't get targeted, movies, authors, directors, actors, etc.

And even the ones that do, there are mobs of people who just ignore it.. look at Cyberpunk.. public enemy #1. Generated a TON of discussion on resetera from people just talking about the game itself.

If you bother to actually say something that can be construed as being against woke-ism? Sure.. you'll get mobbed on... but.. most people just avoid saying anything about that shit, as they know they'll get mobbed on.
