I am and it does. But I'm freaking out about all of that glass. Bumper just for minor protection. That's a good compromise for me since I usually always go naked with phones.

okay, seems like the .nomedia thing worked... but now it doesnt show any music at all... i'm confused
nomedia will block media server from scanning the folders, so if you put it in folders with your music, the songs won't show up. Just put the nomedia files in every folder apart from your music folder, and see if that stops mediaserver from wigging out. Hopefully, it was getting stuck on a random image elsewhere on the internal storage rather than a particular song. It's a pain and google really needs to fix it.
Naked with a mofi pouch for when i'm out n stuff. That curved glass is too smooth to put a bumper or cover over it.
Thanks for the help, mate. I come from iOS where i never had to deal with stuff like this. Kinda annoying sometimes.

I use a pouch type case.
I love it naked, but I'm afraid that an accident might occur that would hit the corner/side of the phone, thus cracking the glass. The bumper seems to be the best option, but damn, 30ish bucks w tax and shipping.
It's cool, happy to help. Android 4.2 generally seemed rushed to meet the nexus 4 launch date, so hopefully nobody has to deal with anything arbitrary like this eventually, after a few updates. The rest of the OS makes up for a few instances of jank, though. Customisation <3

I show it as out of stock too on the US store now. So not sure if it was US only or North American wide or something.

Canada and the US have separate stock. It's never been in stock in Canada for more than like an hour.

I see. Well for sure, as another poster pointed out, it was up for the US for the first time since the original launch. And gone that quickly too.

Thanks for the heads up. I was able to snag one up earlier today. I have the diztronic case coming in tomorrow and the bumper in a few days. I will test them out and decide to keep one.
Is anyone using a screen protector on their N4? Seems pretty scratch resistant...much more than the Gnex.

i'd say give it another 3 weeks before they start producing the knock offs

The 8gb version is completely sold out. You can still purchase the 16gb version but it comes with a 6 - 7 week wait. The bumper (you know bit of molded plastic) is still out of stock and has been for a MONTH.
So a hilarious thing happened to me. I had a custom ROM on the one I got from my buddy so had another friend flash it to stock with 4.2.1 on it. Mine is a 16GB but when I went home, I noticed I had only 5.6GB available. Somehow it now looks like an 8GB Nexus 4. :lol

OK, so I got the Nexus 4 with Bluetooth v4.0 and I'm having auto-connect troubles.
I can auto-connect to my portable Bluetooth speaker with V2.1
I cannot auto-connect to my 2012 Subaru Impreza with v3.0.
My Galaxy Nexus auto-connected without issue. I have to disable and re-enable bluetooth to connect to my car each time. Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: So I ordered my N4 last night, with a 6-7 week waiting time. It already shipped. Google's warehouses must be located at the nexus of the universe.
This is starting to piss me off. I ordered a week and half ago with a 1-2 week wait time and yet people in countries other than Canada can order with a longer wait time and get theirs shipped immediately. Does Google not care about any country but the US? At this point I won't be surprised if I don't get it by Christmas.

I have one of these and it's amazingly fast, and the blue light at night looks pretty cool.

Hell, even the S-Line case looks pretty decent (especially for the price). I'm still waiting on my Diztronic case (should be here next week), but man it just looks clean, professional, and strong.
Bumpers seem really... useless, imo.
