To be clear, I get what you're saying, and you'll probably find plenty of allies that agree that it's racist, but I don't think making changes like that are inherently evil or bad. Moreover, you shouldn't get to dictate how people want to mod their games as long as it's not having an effect on your experience with the game. But maybe that's just me.

I just want to clarify, this is under the assumption that the modder caught shit for making a "turn x character white" mod, not if he really went schizo racist with like klansmen hats or something awful. I am unfamiliar with his work, but I see race change mods in the same light as palette swaps from old fighting games that could turn white/asian characters skin brown.

It's pretty clear that the folks who run the site have a particular agenda. I just miss the halcyon days of the internet when I didn't have to care the political ideology of the site admin, they were just a faceless entity that hosted shit like mods. I get it. I guess I’m used to the pre-nexus ways of gaming a search engine to find what I want and I simply didn’t mind this, because I modded a ton of games in my early teens.
I guess if you decide to actively look someday and find what you’re looking for, feel free to share on here. I feel that others wouldn’t mind a secondary source for mods as long as the website is safe.

The whole point of the diversity/inclusion in media is allegedly so that people feel "represented and identified". So why does it matter what a niche userbase that mods games to feel "identified and represented" do with their single player game and why does it bother you? judging by the tone of your comment) Video games are a fantasy and escapism medium, people should be able to choose or mod the settings which they find most enjoyable .
Race, gender, sexual orientation, swapping does not incite discrimination, hatred or persecution. With the advent of AI i would hope games would eventually allow for all sorts of customization so people can play in whatever fantasy world setting they find most enjoyable to their identity and tastes. If someone wants to make the whole population gay then more power for him/her and viceversa. It don't bother me in the slightest

Meanwhile, I'm actually interested in this mod. Nightsong ruined the whole game for me. The wokeness was being kept in check up to that point where the entire end of the second act of their game is given over to this insane mockery of a man with tits. Hey I'm super lesbian, let me smash my girlfriend's disapproving father's face in before I go and scissor her in bed. I'm super lesbian! It was just so unbelievably cringeworthy. The irony being that if the character were a man, hr would never get away with behaving like that. Just shows you how insanely confused and ridiculous woke ideology is.

If you want to argue that people saying/doing/thinking things you don't like on a certain platform deserves to be deplatformed should kind of keep that same energy across the board at the minimum.
