NFL 2013 Week 17 |OT| The Sentimental Drunk

I can rest easy knowing that the Hawks won't have to play this week, and won't have to travel at all. I will enjoy watching the Packers and Eagles get decimated next week.

That said, even though the offseason hasn't officially started for us yet, I do have a few offseason questions I want answered:

1. Are the Seahawks DB's a bunch of cheaters, or is the NFL's drug policy enforcement as incompetent as it seems?

2. Will Darrell Bevel ever acknowledge the fact that offenses are most successful when they utilize the intermediate passing game?

3. Is every Black player (namely QB's) required to have a wife who A) looks like she walked out of an Atlanta strip club, or B) looks like an extra on the set of a Baywatch spoof-porno, just so they don't be considered as "immature", or even gay?

4. Considering all the awkward hi-five moments, does anybody on the Patriots team even like Tom Brady?

5. Will the Brownies' new management channel their inner Dan Snyder?

6. Speaking of Snyder, does he go to weekly OA (Owners Anonymous) meetings (led by Jerry Jones, and attended by Shadid Khan, Stephen Ross, Ralph Wilson, Woody Johnson, William Clay Ford Sr, & Ziggy Wilf), where all the owners tell themselves that they don't suck hard?

7. Who will be considered next year's Nick Foles? My money is on Ryan Mallett...

Okay, Ari. That's enough.

For you squicken

I'm not getting my hopes up, and it is still so early. Teddy seems like the better pro guy to me, though I think in terms of absolute "this is what a #1 overall looks like", the guy is Clowney

Squicken I'm confused, are you rooting for the Texans too? Or is it just the Oilers connection

Gilbride likely to be fired according to sources.

http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/...likely_to_be_fired_by_giants_source_says.html

There are high-ranking officials in the Giants organization that believe Gilbride will be fired, according to a source with knowledge of the organization's thinking. And the belief is that unless something surprising occurs in organizational meetings over the next week, the Giants will have a new offensive coordinator next season.

Among the chief reasons for the change: the regression of quarterback Eli Manning, who threw a franchise record 27 interceptions this season.

It may take some time before the move is made official. The Giants are in the process of an organization evaluation that head coach Tom Coughlin said could stretch into next week.

The source said it's unlikely Coughlin will put his job on the line for Gilbride.

Yeah, they want Sullivan.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Jason La Canfora:
Sounds like Norv Turner will very likely be out of Cleveland no matter what. Very likely they hire a playcaller like McDaniels or Gase

Come OC in Detroit, Norv.

Lions contacted Arizona about talking to Todd Bowles. So did Browns and Vikings.
