First couple of weeks it wasn't great. Now...
Such an awesome, un-Peyton-like throw. Didn't even wobble.
Even though I was willing to give Tebow a full offseason and at least the start of the following season to prove he could improve, I was pretty happy when we landed Peyton. I figured even a diminished, game-manager version of Peyton would improve our chances to win. Obviously I've been even more pleasantly surprised with the result so far. I get the feeling that the Denver brass feels the same way.
What's crazy was all of the talk after the fact about how bad Peyton's nerves/arm really were post-surgery and how Peyton and his trainers really had no clue how or if he'd be able to regain his former strength. Broncos took a pretty big gamble on him from a pure health standpoint.
