Throw was high.

He threw three ints this game. 100+ yards rushing, the defense allowed 3 points in the second half.

This loss is squarely on Eli, just like the last one.
Penalty ends the game. Fitting.
He gave you 2 Superbowls by abstaining from sex. Let the dude live a little even if it means your team is the laughingstock of the league for awhile.

I didn't mention it but I like how in the last loss Tuck was like "we didn't prepare for Foles we prepared for the read option". Umm Vick had 71 yards rushing in less than 2 quarters. Looks like they didn't prepare for anything.

You know I know it must feel bad to be as awful as Eli is this year but I don't know how bad it can be when the game is over and you know you are still a millionaire. It's much worse for the fans...

So who gets a win first? Jags or Giants. Bets?
Giants win next week. Even if Eli throws 5 picks they will beat down the Vikes.

Sadly, they have actually been playing better every week starting with the game against KC..... Though I guess scoring points is better than not scoring any no matter how you slice it.

At least the Giants covered.

Are they gonna trade him for Lebron? He's probably the only one that could have caught that!
I mean in the sense he's done nothing all year and can't block for shit. Bear Pascoe being on the field did more than Myers has done. It was curious why the Giants even signed him.

The Bears went from having an offense that would embarrass most high school teams and an amazing defense to a mediocre offense and an abysmal defense. Not really sure how that's an improvement. But whatever. It's a win, I guess.

That might be Freeman's first start. I'm counting on Josh Freeman again to help the Bucs out. He's going to smash records that game :\

Giants are almost guaranteed week 10 unless the Raiders keep improving. The Raiders are a solid team, but Giants can take that one.
Bucs will beat the Panthers week 8 because Carolina is awful.

Concern that Gronk's arm STDs weakened bone

http://itiswhatitis.weei.com/sports...cern-over-tom-gill-surgery-on-rob-gronkowski/

Rob Gronkowski may or may not play this weekend against the Saints. But the Patriots had expected him to play much sooner, a source with direct knowledge of the situation told WEEI.com.

The Patriots thought the Pro Bowl tight end would make his debut as soon as Week 3 against Tampa Bay.

However, Gronkowski did not make his debut on Sept. 22, and has yet to step on the field for his first snap of game action. The reason: concern over the stability of the surgically repaired right forearm, a surgery performed by Patriots doctor Tom Gill.

While it is common practice for team doctors to perform on their own athletes, the Gronkowski family became concerned after repeated surgeries to treat infections in the area of a pin that was placed in the forearm to expedite the healing process.

WEEI.com has learned from multiple sources with direct knowledge of the surgery that the arm, injured initially on Nov. 18, 2012 against the Colts, would have healed properly on its own with no surgery necessary. But the team and Gronkowski, looking to hasten his return to the field, decided upon surgery to use an implement in hopes he would be ready for the playoffs.

Gronkowski returned in the 2012 season finale and caught a touchdown pass but re-injured the arm two weeks later against Houston and was unavailable against Baltimore in the AFC championship.

One source with direct knowledge of the initial forearm surgery told WEEI.com Thursday night that there is “serious concern” about the integrity of the bone where the implement was placed and the surrounding nerves.
The source indicated that if the bone had healed on its own without an implement, there would have been no infection. However, there now are concerns that an abscess developed, causing infection and seriously weakening the bone. This prompted three more surgeries in the offseason on the forearm, separate from the procedure on his back.

Gronkowski’s family and representatives were made aware of the issues in the arm and advised the tight end to hold off on returning to action until it could be determined that the bone in his right arm had fully healed.

All of this led to the decision this week to bring in noted orthopedic specialist Dr. James Andrews to sign off on whether Gronkowski is indeed ready to play, taking the decision out of the hands of the Patriots, Gronkowski and Dr. Gill.
