Lucky break for the Broncos. Luck throws a bad pass to Wayne who is completely open and he can't make the catch and hurts himself. What a turn of events.

Years from now, people will look back at this game as the beginning of the Curse of Peyton Manning on the Colts.

What a crazy play. I thought he'd get sacked and then the absolute gimme TD doesn't pan out. Hope Reggie didn't do his knee in.. such a weird looking injury.

Looks like he hyperextended his left knee.

McCoy didn't take off until his second season. Lesean was only 21 when he came into the league though.

Same with Jamaal Charles, Larry Johnson, CJ Spiller too though he's banged up this year. Some guys take a bit longer because they can get away with being a better athlete at lower levels, develop bad habits.

Sucks for Wayne.

RBs are supposed to be plug and play. If you need 3 years to show what you got then you suck. He's not magically going to start breaking plays and be more explosive.

Ideally they are, but not always. I'd say it's too soon to call him a bust just yet. If he blows up next year after spending a year in the Colt's system and playing with a real QB, does it matter much that it took him to year 3 to get there?

Really it's just that you don't need to draft a RB in the first round anymore. You can get the same production out of a guy drafted in the 4th.

Fuck line up with your BIG package and run the ball straight up their asses.

So stupid of coaches to bench RBs when they fumble whereas a QB who throws picks won't get benched right away.

Yeah Trent fumbled but unless he is known to fumble keep him in and just ram him up the middle.

Terrible play calling there.

Hope Wayne is ok.
