Funnily enough a blatant running into the kickers standing leg wasn't called in the NFCCG. Refs are just garbage, get all the small calls most of us would miss, fuck up blatantly obvious ones

Running into the kicker, it's a penalty to protect injuries on kickers since they are vulnerable with one leg up in the air.
In this case though, the kicker completely flopped and sold the call.
Just accept that the refs are shit breh! No bias either way.
Unfortunately it has nothing to do with ethics. As has happened yearly since the dawn of cable it's all about contract negotiations for every network. It will be book soon

If I'm reading the rules correctly: A "Running into the Kicker" penalty can still be called on a blocked kick if the officials judged that the contact with the kicker was not "incidental."
