He was bobbling the ball during the 3 steps though.3 steps and an elbow down....then he tries to stretch out for the endzone.
It was a catch even with the rule, he has control of the ball with, hits the ground with elbow before ball hits the ground. That's a catch.
Just like last week the call didn't decide this game. Hopefully fellow Cowboys fans don't act like Lions fans did.
You have to maintain control for the duration of the play regardless. Didn't you see that Megatron play years ago?

Sorry @dallascowboys. We know the feeling: http://bit.ly/1yVP8qr . #CompletingTheProcess
The ball is bobbling the entire time as he's going down. That's not considered having control by the rule. It's not rocket science here guys.
I agree with this. The great news about the refs being horrible this playoffs is this rule will change, and they will probably introduce challenging pass interference as well.
It's already happening and not just by Cowboys fans.
I can't believe we still have to have the discussion of what is and is not a catch.
He has the ball in his hand, hits the ground with his feet and takes three steps. Upon taking his third step he goes to ground with the ball secured in his left hand. His hand--with the ball--hits the ground and comes loose. He clearly possessed the ball and made a "football move".
How is that not a catch? This sport has issues bigger than their off the field hobbies.

The Dez Bryant call is horseshit.
LolIronic it was the Calvin Johnson rule that overturned that catch. Lions getting their revenge.
Because fans have a real grasp of the rule book.
at least they have humor
Dat kas is infecting everybody. Give it a week until the true refs screw someone over. Home games at NE and Sea?The ball is bobbling the entire time as he's going down. That's not considered having control by the rule. It's not rocket science here guys.
