Cousins is just average. He's at best Andy Dalton, and everyone here hates Dalton and thinks he's overpaid so why build your franchise around a "potential" Andy Dalton? The backup is always the most popular guy in town but Cousins has the advantage of being the back up to a very divisive QB, which makes people think he is even better than he is. RG3 has his faults, and he might never pan out, but his ceiling is so much higher you pretty much have to ride or die with him at this point. Cousins is a non-factor.
