NFL 2015 Week 16 |OT| A Fraud Was Always a Legend

In terms of letting his ego get in the way and making terrible personnel decisions, he absolutely is the defensive equivalent of Chip Kelly.

For an alleged defensive mastermind his defenses have been utter horses*** for the past 7 years or so. Last season they were decent because they had Revis. Other than that they've been terrible for a long time.

He first earned his reputation for being a defensive 'genius' because he was the DC for the Giants during their two SB runs in the late 80s, but those defenses were dominant because of LT, not the coaching.

Likewise, those Pats defenses during their dynasty run consisted mostly of players he inherited from the previous regime. The Pats haven't fielded a defense remotely close to as dominant since those players retired or all left in FA. All while Belichick has had full power over personnel decision-making the entire time.

If it weren't for Brady carrying the team for the past decade and a half Belichick would have been exposed for the fraud he is a long time ago.

This is good

Good win. Congrats.

You were the better team today.

(Just in case, because sometimes it doesn't translate on the Internet, I'm saying that with as little snark and sarcasm as possible)
GG to you guys as well.

Nerve wracking at the end. Thought Cam would drive it down the field guaranteed for a TD to break our hearts.

Matt cassel won 11 games in a belichick team

D Line has been dominating all game.

Is the Cardinals O Line any good? Don't look like it today

Best thing to assume with an offense that is #1 in the league in YPG and 2nd in scoring is to assume the O Line isn't good based on 6 minutes in the 1st quarter of any particular game.

Cmon Packer fan, you guys are supposed to know something about football.

1. You should separate coaching from drafting.
2. The Patriots have been in the top ten in points per game allowed every year since 2010 (espn for some reason doesn't go back past that because they suck)
3. You're completely ignoring the fact that he has embraced the offensive side of the ball once he realized the rules were more stacked on that side. Drafting Gronk and Hermurderez completely changed the Patriots offensive schemes after Moss left.

The defense this year is actually really good, despite the current injuries. I honestly don't get it. Who do you think is actually a good coach?

Dude the pats are 12-3 right now and they have been successful for the past 15 years under him. He even had a good 11-5 season without Brady. Bill is probably the best coach in NFL history. Don't get so emotional over a couple bad games towards the end of this season.
