Kap's regression has as much to do with the poor way he's been handled during the coaching staff turnover as well as his current mental demons.

He pretty much needs to go elsewhere and start anew at this rate, and given his contract I wouldn't be surprised if the front office cuts him loose and make him the fall guy, especially if SF ends up with the top draft pick.
Kap has been figured out, his throwing mechanics are flawed, the ball will always come out late from his hand but he can compensate by throwing hard, which is why he has no touch or arc on his bombs, he's not fixable and they can no longer camouflage his shortcomings.

He's not looking worse than he really is, he IS this bad.

Joe Six-Pack: posting for the common man
man that TAINT by Eli at the end of the half is a killer, they would have had 6 in not at least 3.

Leaving too many points on the field. The INT at the end of the half and the red zone woes. It's always down to the 4th quarter with this teaM. Offense shuts down in the third quarter. We'll see if it's any different tonight.

That Boldin catch and Hyde run are the first time I've been excited about anything the niners have done since the first game of the season.
