There's no reason for this Lions team to be .500 other than this league being just terrible.

It's a testament to how good Matthew Stafford is. The defense and running game are so bad if you put Sam Bradford as the Quarterback and we're 0-6.

If we win either the Bears or Titans game Stafford is a front runner for the MVP discussion. He should already be there, IMO, but at 3-3 he's not going to be in the discussion for most people unfortunately.

Great Quarterback play will always keep your team relevant.

Our defense is unbelievably bad though. I'm holding out hope Teryl Austin can at least fix it somewhat or a rookie like Miles Killebrew shows up these next few weeks.
