Just had a nice chat w/ Jim Harbaugh about his khaki game. He upgraded to @lululemon pants and says, "I'll never wear anything else." Smart.

Ordering a switch on amazon now.

Do I need to buy a zelda cart or is it downloadable?

What else do I need?

I bought it anyway. They said ETA is the 28th.

Now I just need to get Zelda and a screen protector.

You can get Zelda as a cart or downloadable. May want to pick up an SD card too if you think you'll download other games in the future

My order went through on Amazon. :) I am assuming Zelda's are readily available at retail? Why do I need a an SD card? I can save on the internal HD right?

So I just need an SD card, Zelda, and Screen Protector right?

Are digital games stored on the SD card?

Yeah digital games are stored on the SD. MicroSD card actually. And I'd recommend the Pro Controller if you can afford it. The Joycons in the grip are a little tight for my liking, and the Pro Controller is in the running for the GOAT controller for me (analog triggers would've made it no contest)

Yeah, Zelda should be readily available. And I'm pretty sure you can save on the internal, but there's not a lot of room there. If you're only looking to play Zelda, you'll be fine

I would suggest getting an sd card, the goat fighting game KoF 98 dream match is up.

I've been looking at Shovel Knight, Metal Slug, and Snipperclips, so I'll probably get an SD card soon. And apparently Binding of Isaac now lets you use analog stick to aim, so I might grab that too

Unless the digital is cheaper I am buying carts on the Switch.

They are small as fuck and I kind of like using carts.

Fox you are getting the Switch next week? It is best to get it on the weekend. Because Zelda will devour your fucking soul like no other game I have ever played.

I put a 64 GB MicroSD card in my Switch which I guess should be fine for the indies and whatever becomes Virtual Console/retro ports but now I'm wondering if the sizes of Switch games will be double what they were on Wii U. Some of them for what they looked like and in scope were impressively around 1-3 gigs. The only thing really keeping me from going digital is that Best Buy and Amazon are likely to have games at $48 via their programs.

Probably for the best anyway due to me being busy on Sat.

I think I'm gonna get a 200GB microSD. They're only like $60, and I like going all digital when possible. I'm a lazy shit, and I don't even wanna get up to change the disc out. On a handheld it's even more since I don't want to carry a bunch of carts everywhere. It's far easier to just go to the Home menu and choose your game. That Best Buy/Amazon 20% deal is pretty hard to pass up though. I combined that with the Best Buy Visa Checkout $25 off, and got Zelda, Mario, and Splatoon for $120 all together, so I'll at least be physical for them.

Maybe I should get a case

2017 Resolution Proposal

1. By Philadelphia, Amends the NFL’s On-Field Policy to allow clubs to have an alternate helmet in a color to match their third uniform.

Shit yeah. Bring back Pat the Patriot.

Eagles are proposing lots of stuff:

2017 rule proposals

1. By Philadelphia: Gives additional protections for long snappers on kick plays.

2. By Philadelphia: Prohibits the "leaper” block attempt on field goal and extra point plays.

3. By Philadelphia: Expands the "crown of helmet” foul to include "hairline” part of helmet.

4. By Philadelphia: Amends the challenge system by granting a third challenge if a club is successful on at least one of its initial two challenges, and expands reviewable plays outside of two minutes of each half.

1, 2, and 3 cost the Saints a perfect 8-8 season last year. Still think the helmet push that enabled the leap is illegal under current rules.

Is this why the redskins never wear their spear helmets anymore?

Yes. The NFL in their weird attempt to pretend that they care about player safety have decided that only one helmet per team can be safe. They also wont let teams wear non-matching helmets. It was all so dumb, cant believe it tooks this long to fix.

I thought halftime was 15 minutes. Apparently it was 12 minutes and now movIng to 13 and a half minutes, which means another minute or two of adding commercials. This is truly an effort to shorten the experience

That's another 90 seconds of glorious servicing to be had.

Uh...not sure how much I agree with this one:

5. By Philadelphia: Expands halftime length by 10 minutes for all December regular season games to allow additional time to pelt Santa Claus with snowballs.

So Goodell said all replays were going through the head of officiating. I hope he just didn't mention that it would be a team of people working for the head of officiating, empowered to make decisions without his review. You could have 8 games in the final two minutes reviewing all challenges, scoring plays, and turnovers. No way this speeds things up if the final decision can only be made by one guy.

How drunk and ridiculous is the Santa Claus in question?

I'm thinking of getting one of those leather Switch cases but I can't decide between the blue and tan version

7. By Atlanta: Mercy rule for games in which team is down by 25 to save them from further embarrassment.

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.

No halftime was ever 12 minutes. That was the minimum. They wouldn't start the timer until all players were off the field. Now it is a hard 13 and a half timer. So it should actually be shorter.

Carolina and Seattle are two offenses that have elements that would suit Kap. Buffalo too, considering Denver looked at him last year.

Uh oh

They don't even really like Cam like that around here and he does whatever he can to stay PC.

Imagine if afro-wearing, anthem kneeling, real shit speaking Kap was on the Panthers.

Someone was on ESPN radio today saying that they thought the Panthers would be a great fit for Kap. I wonder if there is actually something to that. They could keep the same offense at least if Cam went down them.
