I love the pick. Not a sexy pick but we desperately needed a Right Tackle.

Only 3 QBs were sacked more than Matthew Stafford last year and our run game last year was the worst in the league. In 2014 it was around 28th.

The offensive line was horribly bad last year and was probably the main reason we missed the playoffs.

Riley Reiff has his 5th year option coming up and we can see how he holds down the Left Tackle position during his contract year.

Nice, safe pick can't wait to see who we pick in the 2nd round.

How did Tomlinson do with Detroit last year?

Lions o-line was terrible for the first half of season as they tried to run a complicated, half baked zone blocking scheme. Tomilson is a big dude, best at power blocking so he was out of his element. He improved as the season progressed, especially after the team shitcanned Lombardi and moved back to a simpler power scheme.

I think Tomilson will be real solid this upcoming season now that we'll be running power scheme through spring training to the season.
