Our 2nd rounder should count as our 1st round pick.

1 year likely vet minimum deal for Freeman. Be curious to see who starts the Hall of Fame game. Freeman or Painter? (shit or shittier)

The Giants won't put Eli on the field for it if they can help it. They'll let him rest and recover from the ankle surgery. He should be ready for the first actual preseason game though against the Steelers if memory serves.

Derek Jeter has every STD known to science and had career years in his mid and later 30s.
Then why did STDS break down Gronks entire body?

Obviously the STDS Jeter got from boning Hollywood actresses and bikini models are different than the ones Gronk got from the porn stars and various farm animals he lay with.

Also I am pretty sure when it comes to STDs Jeter gave out far better than he ever received....

Why they would sign him after witnessing the disaster he produced when the Giants played the Vikings is beyond me.
Certainly not dismissing Freeman as being hot garbage in that game but honestly that was such a ridiculous coaching move that deserves equal blame for throwing the guy out there two days after he joined the team? Maybe three? With little exposure to the playbook.

The Giants are looking for an upgrade over Painter obviously. Freeman in 2012 threw for 4k yards and had 27 TD's so at least there's SOME upside there I suppose? Eli goes down and it won't matter anyways but I /really/ hope Nassib comes along. I don't want a roster space wasted on a third QB.

Wow, seeing a few scouts/draftniks putting OBJ over Watkins now.

Fuck Carr, stop with your propaganda! I'll probally go into detail why I believe the first pick will be Qb come mock time.

Embrace your future QB bro. Take Watkins at 4 and imagine Carr slinging bombs to him and Gordon.

I've said it before, but I would be willing to give Freeman a pass for most of that game due to the absurd circumstances. But my problems with him went well beyond not knowing the playbook or not being on the same page as his receivers. He was missing really basic throws and badly at that. Completely overthrowing stationary receivers (freemanoutofthestadium.gif). His basic throwing mechanics looked terrible. It's going to be a deal for nothing so whatever, but I still feel like there are better guys to take a chance on.

Strongly agree about Nassib. I wasn't a big fan of the pick at the time and it will be very disappointing if he still isn't capable of holding the backup spot and they need to waste an extra roster spot.

Been asked why I see Bridgewater falling. This is it -- Hard to place him. I know a few teams that like him. Tough to find 1 that loves him.

Media perception of TB > Teams' perception

Oftentimes a player "rising"/"falling" on "draft boards" is really a matter of us in the media getting a firmer handle on what teams think.

#DraftTwitter's gone absolutely insane and will explode violently before May 8th. Gonna crack iPhone screens and everything.

So true. Why did Goodell move the Draft back?

Hey bros, when does having a kid get easier? The baby is five months old now, up five times last night and tossing and turning in between. Doesn't really affect me but it's about to drive my wife insane which obviously does affect me. Sorry for the venting but it's been rough.

When they are about 4 years old, you'll start to see the light. The first 3 years get progressively easier. The first year is hell. No two ways about it man.

What was the baby up for? Hungry? Diaper?

In honor of the Freeman signing, I just got Taco Bell for lunch.:D

If you really think about it. How many GMs are gonna want to draft a QB who can't throw without a glove? Pair that with his small frame and hands. I can see why he may fall to 2nd.

And when you really look at his tape, it's not all that impressive. Nothing that really differentiates him from the other top QBs. At least imo, but I'm not a scout.

What the hell does throwing with a glove have to do with anything? When Kurt Warner led the Cards to the Super Bowl I don't think anyone was saying, "Yeah but what if he had to play barehanded?!"

That is pretty normal. My 2nd is 5 months old too and gets up between 3 and 6 months at night. First child did the same. Breastfed babies especially can digest the milk fast. Solid food will allow them to sleep longer after 6 months but even then they will wake up if the baby is so inclined.

One thing you can try to do is keep them awake for 3+ hours before bedtime.

I agree with just general sentiment that he's good but there's nothing that screams "special". But glove is non-issue, like BigAT said. Warner was fine with gloves

Doesn't seem like a pretty big red flag to you? Drafting a guy to play QB in the NFL who can't throw without a glove?

Sure Pey Pey does it now (not by choice) and Warner did it his last year or 2, but c'mon they are proven winners and vets at the end of their careers. Not really comparable.

I sure as fuck wouldn't draft a guy in the 1st round to play QB who can't grip and throw a ball without a glove. But maybe that's just me.
