NFL Offseason Thread 3 - Drowney for Clowney Mech, Drowney for Clowney.

Bears vs. San Fran in week 2 in primetime is something I'm looking forward to. Aldon Smith won't be able to destroy us like he did last time we played him because he's too busy making bomb threats.

The Eagles official website posted the schedule early and then took it down but not before someone who has never heard of the Print Screen button got a screen cap of it.

What do you think Eagles-GAF?

Weeks 11-17 is the most ridiculous thing ever. 6-10 for sure.

The Chiefs schedule is okay. No long road trips, decent bye week. Short rest between Pats/Niners and Seahawks/Raiders games though. I like the 5 3 PM games.

People get upset about their team not having a lot of primetime games? Personal preference obviously, but I hate when the Giants play in SNF/MNF (and Thursday sucks, naturally). I much prefer watching them during the afternoon Sunday.

I just don't want 10am games, because fuck waking up before 10am on a weekend.

Outside the shitty hiccup on a short week plus travel to Seattle across the country, Giants schedule is pretty favorable. All depends how fast the new offense gels together for McAdoo.

They did the same to the Cardinals. Week 1 they're on MNF with the Chargers, and in Week 2 they are traveling to New York.

We play @Raiders week 2 then @NYG Week 3. Frequent flyer miles

Initial thoughts on schedule:

1) Run-in's OK, opening few weeks OK, middle 5 weeks starting with Bengals and going through Eagles MNF looks dicey. That's 5 playoff teams in 5 weeks.
2) Much prefer late bye week to early bye week last year.

I think people are more looking at it as a sign of status. They're taking not getting put on prime-time as a sign of disrespect from the league and from the networks.

So Mayock and Nessler got 86'ed?

The NFL wanted out of producing the games. The NFLN will have some of its talent involved, but no one knows how exactly. And I like Mayock, but he's not at his best on TNF. Nantz and Simms are definitely doing play by play, though

Damn weeks 5-11 for the Rams is gonna be brutal.

5 - @ Eagles
6 - Niners
7 - Seahawks
8 - @ Chiefs
9 - @ Niners
10 - @ Cards
11 - Broncos

That is a rough stretch of games.

Ah, got it. I didn't mind Mayock either. The quality of play on the field was always the biggest problem.

My guess they probably keep Eisen and his crew for Pregame, halftime and post game.

Alright Pack-GAF, here's what we've got:

Opening looks pretty brutal -- weeks 3-8 especially. If we have any healthy players left on the roster by the bye, I like our chances to finish strong though

I could see us go 2-4 in that stretch. Surprised vs Pats isn't primetime. Also the TN game against the vikings is terrible.

Mayock should stick to what he does best. Ball washing golden domers.

Can someone explain to me the London game against the Falcons. Am I really gonna have to wake up at 8:30 in the morning to watch that?.

You could stay up all night.
