will be interesting to watch cam and the pats in the early games
Would have been more interesting if he had a half decent receiver to throw the ball to whenever they actually decided to pass which was almost never (understandidly so) . N'Keall Harry is not looking good.
Im pretty drunk if this doesnt make any sense but I cant wait to watch the bucs tonight also

Waiting for the Niners game. Going to be in an empty stadium covered in hazy smokey air. Dystopian Cyberpunk Football.

Do you actually watch football Nobody_Important Nobody_Important or did you just feel like calling people racists and hypocrites? Ot I guess vikings will be off to a slow start and then pick up? Lol
I've watched it my whole life. Kind of hard not to when you live in the Midwest. I usually play Fantasy Football too, but with the uncertainty around the season this year we decided not to do a big draft this year. We will just have small Draft King head to heads between ourselves instead starting next week.

Packers fan btw before you ask.

Nice week one for the Raiders.. Defense still mostly sucks, but the offense seems like it will be able to put up points.. Which is what you need when you're stuck with Mahomes in the division for the next decade.

For a good while I thought well maybe they'll keep this lead.. And then of course they let a huge yardage TD.. I figured they would blow it at the end, but was thankfully wrong.

Hopefully Ruggs is OK, bummer to have so many already hurt.

Next week VS Saints? Oof. Gonna be a hard one to win as the stadium opener.

What time is it?
Does Jerry Jones force laboratories on his head coaches? I was hoping McCarthy might be an upgrade but how do you keep Kellen Moore on as your OC and that terrible decision to go for it on 4th down.

Watching the Cowboys last night reminded me completely of the Packers for the last decade, the horrible defense, the head scratching down choices, the weird run/pass choices. The only reason we won as much as we did was Aaron Rodgers, McCarthy's coaching is going to get horribly exposed by how average Dak is, he can't make up for the coaches deficiencies.

Yeah that is how it felt. I know most people probably turned off the game after the pick six. I watched to the end. Bucs really need to clean up their act at some point.

ESPN is out here praising Brady. I will say that I definitely noticed a difference with Brady behind the helm vs Jameis. The PI calls were in abundance and it almost seemed like Brady knew how to draw it out of the Saints. Can't wait for more.

Rodgers looks great, love the fast offense, Adams is a monster, very worried about the injuries we suffered.

I’m also worried about the 22 points we gave up with our typical 4th quarter “prevent” defense.

If the offense had sputtered out in the 4th quarter like years past then we would have lost that game.

Cam looked decent. It's weird watching a QB who can run. Football is still weird with the pumped in crowd noise and empty seats. Wish Tom had a better game, too.

Im super hopeful they take that as a lesson and fricken stop that practice of prevent D. It NEVER works.

Looking good. I'm currently #1 in a weekly pickem pool. If Denver wins I win no matter what. But if they lose it'll be a tie and come down to tiebreaker points between 5 of us.

Cardinals won... -_-
49ers had 2 weapons in that game, Kittle and Mostert...and Kittle hurt himself.
Not sure why they didn't get Sanders to come back, the team was much better with him and now Samuel and Aiyuk are both hurt.

I think 49ers won't go to the superbowl this season if someone doesn't step up in the receiving corps.

What did you think of Jimmy G?

NE looked decent enough, defense played surprisingly well but then again they only played the Fish.
Big test next week with Seattle they have to play a lot better to have a chance.

As a Pats fan I would still love to have him back in NE but I think he is a average QB with SF

My thoughts as well. Honestly I'd maybe go a little further and say he's a below average QB who can operate in a very strict well orchestrated system, but will rarely elevate a team or win a game on his own shoulders. I honestly think the 49ers will not be able to win the big one with him.

Same as last season. He's good, not elite, gets a bit flustered when stressed out. But if he had actual receivers, he'd do much better.
Last season, he wasn't that great until Emmanuel Sanders came in and i wish we still had him. Second part, he was pretty darn good, even great, imo.
Converted most 3rd downs, had poise.

Heck, i wish the team had real receivers and not only third stringers. Deebo Samuel is not a #1 receiver either but i guess he's better than Trent Taylor, Pettis or Bourne.
I'm still mad they didn't draft Metcalf last season. But maybe it's because i prefer taller receivers myself.

That receiving core is making Mullens look good against the Giants. Granted, it is the giants, but without Kittle and Sanders, I didn't think he would eclipse 175 passing yards today, but he's up 20 with 12 minutes to go and 261 passing yards. It's garbage time now, so he's one big fade away from 300 and lookin real good. Jimmy G has no excuses this year. Sanders is gone he cannot save Jimmy. Kittle's numbers are going to take a hit with Sanders gone, and Deebo is out for a lengthy period of time. Georgie Boy is going to have extra coverage being thrown his way, and he isn't going to have a great season stats wise.

Aiyuk didn't play week 1 though...and the giants are pretty bad.
Mullens is a backup, Jimmy G is much better.
Most of Mullens yards are from screens... a few nice plays for sure but again, it's the giants and they were obviously thinking the niners would only run.

And Jimmy G played much better last week before the injury so...

This Bucs-Bears game is the worst game of professional football I have ever watched through the end.

Holy shit. I figured Brady would destroy them so I didn't bother to watch

Ugly game, tons of penalties on both teams, Bears defense hung tough after a rough start. Foles looked terrible for most of the game but came through in the clutch.

Usual Foles, then ? He's pretty clutch ^^
I like the guy, i think he deserves the starting spot over Trubisky.
If he stays healthy, he can be pretty solid starting QB, he proved it with the Eagles.

I hope Garoppolo comes back for the niners this week...Mullens is the reason they lost the last game (can't blame him, he's a good backup but not starter material [yet?]).

Everyone who laughed at the Bills and Josh Allen the past two years should have the standing Buffalo branded on their forhead and a forced vasectomy without anaesthesia.
